Surprisingly Effective – Saved Me Replacing Tiles!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly Effective – Saved Me Replacing Tiles! I had a couple of hollow/loose tiles driving me mad and was gearing up for a messy replacement job. Decided to give this a try first and honestly, I’m glad I did. The micro-injector tip makes it really easy to get adhesive exactly where you need it – especially on narrow grout lines. The product is quite runny, so take your time and keep a damp cloth handy, but once you get going it’s very straightforward. I injected slowly, gave it time to settle, then repeated, and it filled the void perfectly. After curing, the tiles feel rock solid again and the hollow sound has completely gone. Much cheaper and cleaner than ripping tiles up, and a great little kit to have for future repairs. If you’ve got a few “clacky” tiles or creaky flooring, this is definitely worth trying before calling a tiler. Highly recommend – saved me time, hassle, and money. 👌

The extra strength formula of this adhesive is impressive
I recently purchased the Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive to repair some loose tiles and hollow spots in my laminate flooring. Here’s my detailed review based on my hands-on experience with this product. Pros: Strong Adhesive Properties: The extra strength formula of this adhesive is impressive. It worked effectively to bond loose tiles back to the subfloor and filled voids under laminate planks, restoring stability and preventing further movement. Customizable Tip: The included 2mm+ customizable patented tip is a fantastic feature. It allows for precision application, making it easy to control the amount of adhesive dispensed. This precision helped me target specific areas without excessive overflow, ensuring a clean job. Versatile Use: This adhesive is suitable for a variety of materials, including tiles, wood, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), and laminate. Its versatility makes it a valuable addition to my DIY toolkit, as I can use it for various flooring types throughout the house. Preservation Cap: The preservation cap is a thoughtful addition that keeps the tip clean and prevents clogging between uses. This feature allows for easy storage without worrying about dried adhesive ruining the tip. Quick Drying Time: The adhesive sets relatively quickly, which is essential when you need to complete repairs efficiently. I was able to walk on the floors after a few hours, minimizing disruption to my daily routine. User-Friendly Application: Applying the adhesive was straightforward. The instructions were clear, making it easy even for someone with minimal DIY experience. I appreciated how uncomplicated the process was, which made my repair job less daunting. Cons: Container Size: The amount of adhesive in the container may not be sufficient for larger projects or multiple repairs. For extensive areas, I found that I needed to purchase additional tubes to complete all the necessary fixes. Initial Cleanup: While the adhesive is easy to work with, it can be a bit messy if you’re not careful. I recommend having some cloths or paper towels handy for quick cleanup to avoid sticky situations. Curing Time: Although the adhesive sets quickly, full curing can take longer. While I could walk on it after a few hours, I was advised to avoid heavy traffic for at least 24 hours to ensure the best bond. This might be inconvenient for those needing immediate access to the area. Not for Major Repairs: While this adhesive is great for loose and hollow spots, it may not be suitable for major structural repairs or damage. For severely compromised flooring, additional methods may be necessary. Potential for Over-application: Given the customizable tip, it requires a steady hand to avoid over-applying the adhesive, which can lead to excess material seeping out and creating a mess. Overall Verdict: The Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive is an effective and practical solution for addressing loose tiles and hollow spots in various flooring types. Its strong bonding capabilities, user-friendly application, and versatile use make it a must-have for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners alike. While the container size might be a limitation for larger projects and initial cleanup is necessary, the overall performance and ease of use outweigh these minor drawbacks. If you’re looking for a reliable adhesive for your flooring repairs, I highly recommend the Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive—it delivers excellent results and simplifies the repair process.

It isnt cheap, but cheaper than lifting the floor. Brilliant
My porcelain tiled floor in the kitchen had failed in multiple places where it was laid over an existing wooden floor and unbeknownst to us not with a full adhesive bed by the tiler. Almost every tile was now unsurprisingly creaking after 6 years, but as the floor was fully tiled prior to installation of an expensive hand painted bespoke kitchen, effective removal/replacement was problematic and cost prohibitive to say the least. Also as the tiles were now discontinued, removing them was not really an option for fear of breakage. We discovered this product on Google and i can say is its absolutely brilliant and has fixed all the loose tiles and most of the voids under them that caused the fail. What to know - its a remarkably easy method to apply, drill the grout in several places with the supplied drill bit around the corners (i did the middle as well to ensure the whole void was filled) and inject the substance, weigh down the tile and avoid for 8-12 hours. The area i was filling was very large, so if you have more than the one tile to fix it might be worth looking for the bulk 3lr tub, verses multiple cartridges. I then syringed the liquid in which was hand breaking but i found I had more control than using a gun, where i initially broke multiple tips. I would calculate that I used around 4 tubs and a few cartridge's to fix a 12m Sq floor with a huge void all round. All in all around about £600 and a couple of evenings work and my floor 3 months on is rock solid with few detectable voids now. Brilliant product and a real lifesaver. Also their customer service direct is first class.

Great for fixing ceramic floor tiles.
I've had to use this on ceramic floor tiles a couple of times now and it works perfectly. Leave it 24 hours to cure and you won't go wrong, it's very easy to use, quite watery so don't pull the guns trigger too hard. Just fill through there grouting in a couple of places and squirt the fixafloor in and hey Preston, you're done. 10/10.

Doesn’t work
This product doesn’t work. We bought 3 in the end as it just wasn’t sticking. (Not all used in one spot) After 8 days you could still hear the squelch so we decided to take the board up and relay a new one with the actual floor glue and it was STILL wet! Waste of money!

Good product but the tubes have manufacturing error
This is a great product and does the job. The trouble is the when using the trigger gun the product comes out the back even if you don't use too much pressure. You can end up wasting most of the adhesive. The tubes in my view need a complete redesign

Definitely recommend
Great product and very easy to use. I really didn’t fancy trying to fix one loose tile, highly recommend

Does the job but not quite as simple as the video suggests.
Having floor tiles that are not fully adhered to the subfloor results in loose grout and potentially broken tiles. So it is worth quite a lot to resolve the problem without having to remove tiles. The video shows a simple solution to drill some small holes through the grout and pumping in the adhesive which flows easily under the tile and pushes up through the next hole. It did not work that way for me. I identified all the (extensive) hollow areas by tapping. Drilling through the grout was fairly simple but in some places the grout seemed to go full depth of the tile (i. e. The bit did not ‘release’ before it hit the screed). I used a 3mm bit. The adhesive was a good consistency but on some holes it was easy to pump and took a lot of material and on some it refused to take any. Only once did it flow up through the adjacent hole. This I think was due to the grout being full depth and blocking the flow path. It is important to use sufficient weight on the tiles until the adhesive sets. The tubes only leaked at the back if I tried to force the material into holes - if it won’t flow easily move on to the next hole and drill more holes if you need to. On checking next day I found only 60% of the hollow areas were now solid. I needed to drill more holes and re-apply the adhesive. This resulted in about 85-90% solid, but I could not detect any tile flex. Having regrouted the area I am pleased with the result but I will need to see that it remains perfect for years. The material is expensive and I needed a lot of tubes, but I was not willing to risk using a generic PVA adhesive and having failures.
