Riedel Veloce Cabernet

Very light weight and strong. My favorite glasses.

Got three sets of Riedel Veloce tasting kits as part of a tasting event and wanted to find a fourth one. Happy with my purchase. The glasses are perfect, beautiful and I love the carrying case.

This set was a Christmas gift to a friend. She called me let me know that she just took the glasses out of the box (never used). She was hand washing before putting them away and the Malbec wine glass snapped/broke. I bought these glasses for the Riedel reputation and quality. Embarrassing to ask my friend to box up the gift and return. The product should be replaced

This relates to the water glass, and not to stems. I am very pleased with these. . What I was looking for. The capacity (15.1 oz. elsewhere = 14.5 US oz.), shape, lightness and thinness. Importantly, they are of a glass/crystal material with a beautiful brightness and clarity that I do not get in my other glasses, all nice Euro brands. … I do not find these fragile, because I treat glass like glass. And these have no stem to break.

High quality crystal with modern design. It’s a great deal for only $55! Serves wine elegantly and allows it to aerate.

For over $40 a glass, I expect elegance and technical sophistication that match the wines I put in them. That being said, I’m very disappointed at the tacky design decision to etch the type of grape to be drunk out of each glass into the base of the glass. Even more disappointed this wasn’t clearly advertised. Will be returning.

I had the pleasure of attending a seminar hosted Mr. R. himself, featuring white and red wines poured in these glasses. I was impressed with how the individual wines showed in the various glasses, but they are much too fragile, even with the most delicate use. I have other Riedel glasses which have proven much better over all. Avoid this particular line!

Ottima dimensione e qualità del vetro. Facile da pulire. Consigliato su vini bianchi e rossi di media struttura e per accelerare l’ossigenazione.

Otroligt tunna och fina glas, men var försiktig med vad de vidrör. De får repor väldigt lätt

Ik heb 1 wijk uit verschillende glazen geproefd. Deze glazen doen wat ze beloven.

Es bonito, ligero y elegante. Y por su forma es fácil de colocar en la mesa sin que moleste. Ideal para decantar cualquier tipo de vino, aunque como no tiene la base ancha yo diría que es especialmente adecuado para vinos con crianza o reserva.
