Elemental Phonics: Level 3: Easy Phonics Lessons to Learn to Read

I used the book, Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons, with my oldest child. I ended up crossing out the word EASY off the cover page because it was far from easy. The red and black words on each page made it very busy and intimidating for my child. I then purchased Blumenfeld's Alpha-Phonics A Primer for Beginning Readers for my second child and even though it has fewer words on the page, it is still too busy. Jady A. makes her version a pleasure to teach. I know my child will not feel overwhelmed.

Great breakdowns of the sounds and easy to practice words. We often write in extra words if the kids come up with them on their own. Great series!!

Started with book one and we are now on book two. My son is reading!!! I searched high and low for an easy to follow, no prep reading material that actually works. THIS. IS. IT!!!

I have all 3 levels and they are great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I agree with some of the comments. Would have been nice if some of the lessons had instructions or videos on how to use.

My son has learning disability and he has gain confidence I also used this for diction.

I have followed Jady on Youtube since my oldest was one. We started by mastering the letter sounds and then on to this book! If you need instructions definitely check out her channel. My 4 year old is almost finished with level one! He read 10 sentences yesterday! It was so amazing! My Kindergartener finished level one a couple weeks ago and he is now reading the little Bob books! This is such an affective way to teach phonics! We are on to level 2! Thank you Jady!

All the 3 phonics books are easy to comprehend and teach but I think the elemental phonics book 3 needs instruction or perhaps a video tutorial to help the parent teach the child. I’m not sure how to teach this to my child and without instruction/tutorial I will need to find another phonics curriculum.

Trying this out for my 5yo (Singapore based Kindergarten) as he is having a hard time learning to read. Loved that it is not too wordy which can be overwhelming...Bought all the 3 levels :)

I loved the book. I had tried other books too but this only book worked and my son started learning to read!

Bought this for my toddler! Rated high so tried it!

Boring because it was just printed in a regular plain paper...
