Perfect fit works great really delivers a lot of air
Nothing to dislike about this blower so far its somewhat adjustable its compact fairly quiet and it works with my variable speed control so I can turn the air down pretty low and not blow fuel out of the fire box so far really happy will probably buy another in the future for a gas forge

Oil burner!
I’m using this for a waste oil burning stove. It is way overpowered even closed, the closed cover does not stop the air movement. It blows a lot of cfm. It is fairly quiet. It works well for what I’m doing with it, I had to change my burner pot design to accommodate the volume of air that this thing moves. It is a cheap Chinese motor and casting. The quality control seems awful, but for the price you aren’t going to get any other squirrel cage blower this size. Unable to use a speed potentiometer to speed control it so if you are after that, this motor will not support it. If you are using it for a forge or a waste oil burner it will definitely move the air you need and some.

Runs my 27 jet ribbon burner like a boss
I like this blower. I’m using it to drive a 27 jet ribbon burner. The body is cast aluminum with a aluminum blade. Although the switch is a cheap one, I have it paired with a speed controller so it’s of no matter. The housing halves mate nicely and the blade runs smoothly. The blade has obvious balancing drill marks, they took time to balance it. The 2.5” outlet will acccept a 2” pipe internally with a single wrap of duct tape as a gasket. It is quite, much more so than a hair dryer an though I hanvent measured I’d ballpark it in the 45-50db range. It’s quieter then my microwave fan on high. I’m knockong off a star for the cheap switch but I’d imagine most people are just cutting power vs flipping the switch anyway. The output is substantial, it will dump a fire pot at full tilt. I’m running a 27 jet ribbon burner and I never go above half speed, which is why I’m going with a gate valve over a speed controller. The fan does work with it but I don’t like how it operates, not very smooth or consistent in adjustment. Overall I’m pleased with this blower. It performs very well and has plenty of CFM while remaining quiet and pleasing to the eye.

Great forge blower for a good price.
This blower is awesome so far. I have a 4.5 inch deep firepit and burn bituminous coal. My god the gates of hell are in my forge now. The body does feel a bit chincy maybe and some of the components are a bit lightweight but for the money I dont feel the least bit jipped. Get a rheostat and an airgate you will need both. Also dont forget to make a dripper can if you are burning coal... unless you enjoy attempting to forge on 3-4 foot flames. I will update on the quality in a few months.

Easily puts out enough air for anthracite forge
I was setting up a beginning forge setup, and knew I'd need a lot of air due to my fuel (anthracite) so bought this. Well, it definitely puts out enough air. I bought a variable speed switch to go with it and even at the lowest setting it's pretty intense - when properly set up even the lowest speed gets the forge up to welding temps pretty easily. I switched to charcoal fuel when I was able to get some for free and it was WAY too much. If you're using this blower I highly suggest a proper valve setup to be able to precisely control your airflow.

Works great on new built forge!
The Blower is working very well on my newly built forge. Has all the power and flow needed to run a forge chamber that is 8"x8"x18" fed through 1.25" pipe. Only thing I don't liked is the on/off switch is plastic, it's far enough away so it won't melt but would have like a metal one. One year update: Blower stopped working last week, almost right at the one year date. Won’t re-purchase. Just not enough longevity for me.

Great Fan, Classic & Nostalgic industrial look,
As you can see, I have used this fan in my custom Charcoal Grill that I have made of an excavation bucket because life is short, so why NOT?!?! It works great. I got a fan controller to adjust the speed which is worth it.
