Stetson Mens Cowboy

I don’t know how there could be such a drastic difference in shipping because I received my hat in a great structured box with an insert to help protect the brim of the hat etc. Good quality, I’m not sure if it’s ACTUALLY STETSON (came with a made in Mexico sticker and it’s nowhere to be found on Stetson’s website or widely known retailers of Stetson products) BUT - I’m no expert and who knows? It’s good enough quality that I don’t care. I bought it as a summer sun shade on the lake. I feel like I got my money’s worth for sure. Flexible but holds its shape. Sweat band is good quality compared to what you’d expect in this price range. It’s the wrong size (my own fault) and I’m returning it but it’s so good that I reordered the correct size before shipping this one back haha!

Got it in late 2019. Worn every day. Only issue with it is that I do not like the captured cardboard in the hat band. If you sweat in it a lot the cardboard breaks down and makes a goop. Had to cut mine open on the inside of the band on the plastic backer to scrape the goop out. Other than that it's a great hat. Construction and materials are 100% satisfactory. Style is good. Fit is good.

Nice Stetson at a nice price, just too small for an XL and cannot stretch without ruining the hat.

Sturdy straw hat true to size. Bought as a gift and the person loves it. Purchased a wider band for the brim and it fit perfect.

Hat was shipped great in designated hatbox inside a larger Amazon box - this was my 2nd try .. 1st ordered a Medium, returned for a Large - fits my 7 1/4 dome fine with the addition of one of those soft plastic hat adjusters in the back - always go larger - hat itself has no chin strap (for now) - since crown is a little high for me I put on the thickest woven hat band that Boot Barn had to visually make it not so noticeable - about that, the front of the crown measures 4.5" the back of the crown measures 4" and the sides measure 5" - hat does have a wire in the brim for adjustment but be aware this hat is just made rigid, as in not a floppy brim and crown like you'd find in some cheaper cowboy hats (China) Also I believe that almost ALL palm leaf and nicer straw hats are made in Mexico so NOT an American product - feel free to look but I did .. for 2 months Pictures to come EDIT - I used one of those travel steamers for clothing and I got the sides of the crown down to 4 1/4" instead of that unsightly 5" that they were ... 100% better looking

Unbelievable! Why does a company like Stetson allow poor quality production items to pass QC and be sold with their name on it?!? Hat band was sewn on the right side with 5 stitches of white thread, and 3 stitches on the left! Not only holds the hat band on, but it's part of the design!! White on black is REAL obvious out-of-the-box. They shouldn't have even put this in a box, let alone sent it! Get what you pay for. I should've known better than to think I could buy a Stetson western hat, even a straw hat, for $42 dollars + $10 shipping. Must be a fake knockoff. I've worn western style hats all my life and I've never seen a Stetson produced with such low quality. I've seen dime store beach hats that look better!!! Have no idea about the fit! Never even put it on my head! As soon as I opened the box it was obviously poor quality. The conch on the front of the head band, all-be-it slightly, is even off center! Hat shape was just fine, but the QC department must've been napping that day. Let me tell ya, I've been real disgusted in general lately with the garbage being sold and touted as top shelf.

Just arrived. The hat is massive! I measured several times, and my head circumference is 23”. According to the Sizing Chart, that should be a Large. The large hat arrived, and it is MASSIVE !!! I measured it, and it is 24.5” around! On the sizing chart, that would be a XXL Needless to say, my head is swimming in the thing :( So it got returned. I am not going to bother with trying to guess the correct size, so I will NOT be reordering. The only good thing about this experience was that it was an easy return to the local Whole Foods

It's all I wear. Black during rain, tan on hot sunny days. Stetson makes a great shady brady.

El material del sombrero es de mala calidad. Tiene buena forma y estilo, y aunque la marca es muy buena, dudo que dure mucho sin deteriorarse fácilmente. La marca no debería arriesgar prestigio con ese material tan económico. Además tardo 2 meses en llegarme. Si no lo pueden surtir en el tiempo que dicen, porque siguen ofreciendo lo así? Estoy pensando devolverlo.
