I am a bandsaw operator for a furniture company. After many years of using regular wood pencils and having to sharpen them every 30 seconds it was wonderful to find this product. It does exactly as expected and in my case I have yet to have the need to use the sharpener included. This has saved me a ton of time as well as increase visibility when it comes to the cutting process on the saw. The two included pictures are the black lead on Beachwood and yellow lead on walnut. The only regret I have is not trying them sooner.

These pencils are fantastic, no more whittling away at wooden carpenter pencils. They mark well, the price is outstanding and the built-in sharpeners mean I never have to worry about a dull tip. This item is a good product at an excellent price point. It is well made and works well. I actually bought a second one to give to my son who is a country. It isn't something I will use every time I am working in my shop but it WILL be one that has a number of specific things it does better than anything else I have for marketing dark wood.

Great for my projects since regular or construction pencil lead is sometimes too thick. I have been putting this purchase off for a while thinking I didn't really need to get these "specialty" pencils. Wish I had gotten them sooner. Package comes with 3 pencils, plenty of space lead in 3 colors and a (cheap) lead sharpener. Get one, you'll appreciate it.

Very good, durable mechanical pencil. I use them every day. Extra thick lead does not break easily and there is a sharpener built into the top of the pencil.

I'm having the feeling that I waste a lot of my time sharpening regular pencils, this product change everything! The fun part is having different colors to choose and even on wet surfaces they keep marking!

I know I’m late to the game, I was still using carpenters pencils before these. These are simple yet fix so many problems. The built in sharpener in the back of the pencil makes keeping the pencil sharp effortless, just uncap sharpen and recap. The thick graphite pencil shafts prevent snapping of the pencil point. The pocket clip helps immensely with carrying, metal sleeve protects graphite nicely and the light weight perfect sizing makes the design very ergonomic. Coming as a 2 pack is the best park, I keep on in the garage and the other in a tool box in the house, so wherever I’m taking on a project I have a pencil handy and ready to go! I’m buying a second set to have more around, I’ll never go back to regular pencils

I use them cos I’m a carpenter. It’s pencil as good and little bold. I’m happy with it.

This is an excellent set of carpenter's pencils. I really like that there is a sharpener in the cap of each pencil. It shows the designer thought about how the pencils would be used. I also like the three colours of leads that come with the set - I'm currently using the yellow and the red because they mark timber very nicely. I would heartily recommend this set - it's great value, great design and just what I need for woodworking.

This set is great, plenty of spare leads. also the thin point allows you to get into spots you can't usually can't get to with a normal pencil.
