Solid Plate
Heavy, quality rubber plate. Not going to be sliding around like other flimsy mats.

Amazing plate
Overall this plate is great for practice. Our 7U team splits into groups and this goes to the outfield. It stays down during the winds, and gives our boys something to square up with during improvised batting practices.

Lasts much longer than other brands
I have purchased 2 of these now. The first one I ordered is now 3 years old and it is still in good shape. It stays in our outdoor batting cage 365 days a year. I have had some other throw down bases that are long disintegrated by the sun but these seem to last longer than anything else I've found.

A home run of an option.
We had used the cheap, light weight rubbery bases for a while. They faded, tore and eventually fell to pieces (and one was carried off by a neighbor’s dog. This is a good weight and is very functional!

Good Quality Practice Plate
This is my second purchase. The first plate lasted 4 years of weekly use. I would definitely recommend.

It does the job for practice
Good and cheap practice home plate. Heavy enough not to get blown around by the wind. Cheap enough to not worry about it. Plenty durable.

Not exactly as pictured.
The photo on the listing shows a white blank plate. However, it has the MLB logo and brand name embossed in large letters along the top. I found this slightly annoying because it was supposed to be a personalized gift to the coaches of our kid’s team. The embossment stands out like a sore thumb. Aside from that, the base is heavy and seems well made. It would probably work well if it were used as intended.

Good Quality
The home plate is very good quality. It has been used and outside for months and is still in great shape. The plate is a thick rubber material and doesn't move easily. Great buy overall.

Just like the real thing. This Franklin home plate is solid rubber and measures to a regulation size home plate. It’s nice and heavy so it will never blow away. I use it in our batting cage outside and it holds up to the elements pretty darn good. It does get dirty but a little elbow grease makes it look new again. For the price I highly recommend.
