I have no regrets buying this. It keeps the inside of my car way cooler. It folds easily and even has a little bag to put it up nicely. It is easy to clean and most importantly good quality and super durable. Worth ever dollar. I still use it every day years later.

I live in the southern part of the US. It's hot, what seems to be now days, year-round. Even when it's not hot, I know the UV rays are damaging to my vehicle's interior. Unfortunately, my garage houses a lot of junk and not my SUV, so with it being parked in the sun majority of the time, I needed a sunshade that would fit and help protect the interior of my vehicle. This sunshade fits a Toyota Highlander quite nicely, covering the entire windshield. It is simple to fold and has an elastic to secure the shade to keep it from popping open. I also like to use the included storage bag to keep the sunshade protected when it's not in use. As for keeping my car cooler in the summer - if you live in the south, I don't think there's anything that'll make a car feel cooler when it's parked in the sun. Doesn't matter if it's 150 inside the car or 110, it's still friggin hot! But the shade does keep the sun from bleaching the dashboard and causing damage to the leather seats. Great sunshade, does what it was made to do. Highly recommended.

I had a windshield protector before that basically disintegrated in this southern heat, so decided to give something else a try. At random, I chose this particular sun shade. I also bought one for my son. I bought the size suggested for my 2013 Camry. It's a little big, but I can still make it fit snugly. It stays without needing the sun visors to hold it in place, but I use them anyway to maximize the protection. This sun shade does an excellent job of reducing the awful heat inside the vehicle. No longer does the steering wheel need oven mitts to hold! My only complaint would really be that folding this sun shade feels like I'm wrestling with giving a cat a bath. Sometimes, a flick of the wrists and it's folded lovely, but most of the time it's twisted all cattywampus into some strange Möbius strip that doesn't fit in the bag. I'm usually alone in my vehicle, so I just toss it in the back seat without trying most of the time. However, I'd have no problem recommending this sun shade. It definitely does the job of reducing heat in the vehicle way better than the one I had previously.

Excellent windshield shade. It keeps the Sun out cool in the summertime. It is easy to install and to take down is a snap. I would definitely purchase this product again! I have I have had it for a few years now and no problems! Great product!!

I chose this because of doing a lot of research. We have an 2024 F350 King Ranch and live in a sunshine state. It folds twice and fits it a bag behind the front seat in the seat pocket. It covers completely with the help of our visitors holding it from falling down. Has the dark side for if it gets frost in the windshield the sun will melt it off. But mostly will use the reflective side up to keep the heat out and not bake the inside. Easy to fold and put away as well as put in place. Our windshield is large so it kind of takes two to put it in place and tuck the soft corners in place. But one can do it, you would just have to walk around to the other side since I couldn’t reach the other side my arms are not long enough to reach with tucking the corners. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one. Weights nothing and the ease of storing it works for me in the chair back pocket.

Update: 5/7/2018 Summer has come to the desert, and unfortunately, these shades are not the dream I thought they were. My dash and steering wheel are both cool, but the inner temperature of my car is still like breathing into a hair dryer. If you're looking for a shade that really brings the temps down, this isn't it. However, I still appreciate that I can drive my car without oven mitts (no joke). Removed a star for temp control. I have had constant bad luck buying sun shades. Either they're too big or too small, or they're cheap and keep my car only one to two degrees cooler than the outside of my car. I live in the desert and am forced to park my car outside, often in temps ranging from 110-120 degrees. All I wanted was a high-quality sunscreen that fit my car windshield (a 2009 Corolla) without flapping and causing me annoyance. This sun shade fits extraordinarily well - I thought it may be too big at first, but the extra material on the sides helps eliminate any light trying to seep in. Based on fit alone, I'm already excited and I can't wait to test it out now that the weather is getting hotter. Will add anything extra should notes come up during the summer.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a much better car shield than the other brand I bought through Amazon. The old one was too flimsy and hard to stay up. Now for the new one. Better quality but too big for my Toyota Corolla. Amazon recommended the large. I’m going to try it anyways. If it stays put I’m keeping it. Otherwise I will have to return it. Will see. I tried it! It works great. Little big in the center a few inches that overlaps but it holds better so I love it. I love the product recommend.
