I love mushrooms. Truly, madly, deeply. Raw, cooked, sautéed, grilled, or lightly bruised, they bring joy to my life like no other fungus can. On toast with butter? Absolute heaven. I’ve eaten so many that I sometimes whisper “thank you” to them before taking a bite. Raw in salads? Crisp, earthy perfection. Cooked in a pan? They practically sparkle. Mushrooms, I salute you.
