I love the price on this and the fact that it has the right amount of receptacles for my needs. I only needed a wall plate for 5.1 surround, nothing more and this does the trick. If u are installing just this in the wall, it will be easy to install. Just cut ur hole and u are good to go. I chose to put this in a 2 gang wall plate, but it doesn't fit well into ur standard double gang wall plate trim that u can buy at Loew's or Home Depot. I wanted a double gang plate on the wall rather than cutting 2 holes and putting 2 seperate wall plates next to each other for a neater look. But since this thing doesn't fit into the regular double (or single) gang wall trim, I had to dremel the wall plate trim so that this fits into the opening. This thing only fits perfectly into the wall plate that comes with it. Won't work with Decora or others sold at big box stores. And unfortunately they dont sell this thing with a double gang wall plate. The copper speaker wire terminals/receptacles get in the way and it won't sit flush inside the trim opening unless u grind away some of the material on the edges of the trim's opening. After a lot of extra work, I got this to fit flush in the double gang trim. Not too pretty anymore but this will sit behind the entertainment center so I'm not too worried. It would be nice if it fit into any wall trim and saved u the hassle of dremeling/filing/enlarging the trim opening.

I used the one shipped but it arrived defective. One of the contacts will not clamp well, the threads are stripped or just not manufactured correctly. I had to knot the wire through to maintain contact.

Turned that ugly hole in the wall (from the builder!) into a neat wall plate. Issues: If your wall box does not have a place to screw in the middle plate you will need to super-glue the inner plate to the outer plate. This is easily done. Just place the glue on the opening between the inner and outer plates and hold it there for an hour with a spring clamp. Makes it one solid plate. The inner plugs take bandanna plugs or bare wires. Same with the outer plugs. Looks great. Works fine.

This product is sturdy and well made. Looks great installed. Banana plugs fit the front side and binding posts on the back side. Note: You will need a low voltage bracket (not included) to mount in the drywall.

I received my order very quickly and the installation was quick and easy. I would order from seller again.

Hard to find 4 speaker setup in a single gang wall plate. It worked well.

The quality of these are not the best, some of the threads were stripped, making it pretty hard to screw the nuts on to secure the cables. Pushing some of the wire between the stud and the nut made it work, but it wasn't the best experience.
