This is my second leash purchase, got the dual leash the first time. Loved it so much bought this single one. Despite being a rope handle, it is still very comfortable to hold. The bungee part is great and strong, not junk like other store brands. I love the colors and the extra handle down by the collar attachment so I can hold/control my dog if needed. The co-founder Christian has been great and reached out for feedback on products. Love that they care so much about the customers getting the products and being satisfied. I don’t expect my leashes to wear out any time soon, but will probably buy additional colors at a later time. Only negative thing I could possibly say about this leash is due to it being a rope handle it does not come with the extra poopy bag attachment ring on the handle like the other leashes do. Again, I had no expectation of this, so still 5 stars, but be aware that you may need a different bag holder with a big enough loop/connector to fit the larger rope handle.

This is a fantastic leash for my 90lb golden. Made incredibly well - quality. Price is fantastic .. I’m not sold on the bungee design yet so we will see. I purchased a different one prior which was so cheap it was embarrassing for the vendor.

Know that this leash alone (and any other leash out there) cannot put your dog's pulling to a stop if that's what you were thinking. it needs to be paired with a right type of harness, be sure to have a harness on your dog that you know for sure helps with the pulling. The harness my dog has wraps around his snout and neck, not body. It definitely helps with the pulling. And then I got this leash, it works great with my dog's harness.. it definitely absorbs shock should my dog impulsively runs and then get strung when the leash maximizes its length. When I got it, I was worried because the bungee part seemed strong and the harness is on my dog's face.. but to my surprise my dog is a big puller to the point where the bungee would stretch.. it eventually felt normal and that's how I knew it's working (in aiding with stopping the pull). It's a nice looking leash too, the handle is cushioned and comfortable. I only wish that it's a tad bit longer.. the leash is not short, but since my dog's part hound.. his nose brings him north south east and west all at the same time, dog likes to explore :)

I use this for walking both of my dogs at the same time. It has a great length and is very comfortable. It works perfectly and is extremely durable. My dog loves to come bring it to me every time she thinks she needs to go on a walk.

The product is well built. It is setup in sections that include a close and comfortable handle for keeping your dog near you on narrow walkways, a flexible bungee section that keeps your dog from pulling you unexpectedly, and a sturdy cord connected to the comfortable handle at the end. The leash is a little longer than the standard 6 foot leash which allows more flexibility in walking your dog up and down steps and extra reach for their sniffing expeditions. It’s also easy to “choke up” on the leash by grabbing one of the two leather pieces or 1/2 way down the cord section. I am 6 foot and this leash is PERFECT for my 75lb rescue dog. I loved it so much I ordered a second one right away since the products I LOVE always seem to disappear :( Don't miss out on this great product!

My 8 months old Golden Doodles loves to pull when we're out for a walk. He is about 50 pounds and still growing. My wife and I were having a hard time with him sometimes. We had gone thru a couple of cheap leashes, they hurt our hands because of the materials. And because they did not have the bungee, so we felt the full force from my pup's pulling. Since we got SparklyPets Heavy Duty Rope Bungee Leash, walking with my pup has been less stressful and taxing to our bodies. The bungee definitely helps absorbing the energy of the sudden pull. The extraction and contraction of the bungee acts as a signal to my pup as he tries to pull. We also attached the leash to the front of the dog harness instead of the back. That helps to reduce the pulling as well. Overall, we're very happy with this leash. It's well made and seems durable. Customer service is great since our purchase. Highly recommended to all new pup owners. Edit: I've recently reached out to their customer service, because my dog who is heavy chewer, chewed up the handle section of the bungee. They sent out a replacement immediately (the whole leash), no questions asked. We need more sellers and companies like this who stand behind their products 100% with great service.

My large dog needed emergent spinal surgery after slipping a cervical disc. I'm sure this was caused in part from years of her pulling hard against me and running full blast until she hit the end of the leash while on walks. I tried harnesses and every other device designed to stop the pulling. Nothing worked. We stopped going on walks because it was hard on my elbows and shoulders and no longer safe for her. I saw this leash and decided to give it another try. This thing is magic! The first time she was bungeed back to me she stopped pulling so hard and we actually enjoyed our walk. She is learning to walk calmly and my elbows and shoulders have been spared. The hand-hold loop is great for when I need to reel her in next to me. The material and hardware are heavy-duty, the bungee part is wrapped to prevent catching on skin or fur, and my handle is smooth and sturdy. I feel this leash will last a long time.

Leash was great, my goldendoodle likes to pull a but and the lower handle keeps her reigned in on our walks. Not sure if there was a defect but the clip attachment broke so now I'm just down to half a leash.

Nice leash but after a few months the stretching function did not work any longer. The elastic part had worn out. Pity.

I’ve been using this leash for a few months now, and love it so much I decided to buy extras. Hands down my favorite leash I’ve owned and have yet to find a downside! The handle is comfortable and fits nicely around my wrist. I have two pups, a 70 lb 6 month old German shepherd and an 11 month old mixed dog over 100 lbs, both pullers. The bungee portion works exceedingly well to save your arms and wrists from the brunt of the pressure when the dogs pull. The rings are all strong, durable metal that hold up well. The second handle up near the collar is excellent for when you need better close control of your dog and need them to walk next to you, like when walking through crowds or passing other people/dogs on the sidewalk. The reflective strips throughout the leash make it easily visible when light reflects off it when walking in the dark. And although I almost always use the leash with the bungee attached for protection from pulling, it is nice to have the option to take it off to make a short leash if you want your dog to stay by your side and not have room to roam. Finally, Sparklypets themselves has some of the most attentive and kindest customer service I’ve ever encountered! They respond quickly, they’re extremely helpful and very generous. They offered a discount code, which didn’t work when I tried to enter it. They quickly responded, sending alternate codes to try. When none of them worked, they offered to send me a free leash for the inconvenience, and while I certainly didn’t expect that, it was much appreciated! Then to my surprise, the leash arrived in less than 24 hours (and I live in a village in the middle of nowhere!) You certainly won’t regret the products or customer service ordering with these guys! 100% recommend everything about them!
