It does what it came to do! I find that since this product page doesn't offer much info at all, that I had to dig on the Interwebs for more about Sankhpushpi (sometimes spelled Shankhpushpi). It's a worthwhile rabbit hole. I can say this, if you're looking for a brain tonic that aids function in more ways than one, then this is definitely a STRONG candidate for your supplement regimen. Don't expect instantaneous results, though. As with most herbal supplementation, it's a build effect, and requires you to take it consistently (always in accordance with your individual dosage needs and/or practitioner guidelines/recommendations). All that said, you can't beat this pricing at $8 a bottle, and the quality is solid. It's a total winner for Me.

Love this! I take it daily with a companion supplement Manjistha. I feel wonderful. Sankhpushpi (shank-push-pee) is a traditional herb of Indian. Convolvulus prostratus plant- this stuff is marvelous. It's effects on me- better digestion: not to be too graphic, but when I "move", I feel like "it's done". Nothing stuck or needing to be pushed out. I also feel better emotionally. I'm a pretty happy person anyway, yet I feel more balanced. I'm not as worried as usual. There's less rumination over my love life lol. I'm feeling more hopeful & able to let things that really are beyond my control go. Oh I must mention There's less brain fog. I'm sleeping better cause I wake up less during the night. Recommendation: I begin my regiment 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I found myself feeling queasy late morning. So I now take with my 1st meal. No problems at all. I will definitely be continuing with this product from this company. Good buy~

I'm just going to comment on the pills themselves and not the efficacy of the ingredients, as any health observations would only be anecdotal and not a reflection of any rigorous scientific evidence. As such, always take any review touting health benefits with a grain of healthy skepticism. Getting to the pills themselves, they are not too large, but lack the smooth glossiness of many vitamins/supplements. As such, there is not only a thin powdery layer over all of them, but when I toss the pills in my mouth, the moisture sucks into the pills and makes them stick to my tongue and throat, making them a bit more challenging to swallow than usual. An extra large helping of water helps them go down, but I wish they just coated them for ease of swallowing. I didn't notice any objectionable flavor to these, so at least they don't leave an aftertaste. Again, I'm not rating these based on their supposed effectiveness, but only on their properties as pills. They could be easier to swallow, but at least they aren't too large or anything, so don't cause any pain in my throat like some larger pills tend to do if they go down sideways.

I've become really interested in Ayurveda and Indian spirituality, so I was happy to try these tablets for improving my mood and relaxation. I took them last night and was able to fall asleep and have pleasant dreams without the groggy feeling upon waking. I take them at night but might switch to the day so I can see how it works on me then but I'm really happy with them and will definitely be ordering more. The tablets have a nice herbal taste too!
