I generally like this kit, it’s thick plexi and appears well made. I did measure before purchasing and this was supposed to fit. Most of it does, however the filter sock holders and intake are about a inch shorter than the rest of the other pieces. It’s weird. But I can’t use them because there is no way for me to support the end that does reach the glass. The other pieces fit well so I’ll keep it just so I can use the remaining baffles.

Great company to deal with but sadly it did not fit my tank I want to use it for. I a very well-made and very high-quality product.

This kit contains everything you need and fit perfectly. I purchased the 20 long aqueon tank and this conversion kit. Everything you need to create the sump is included. High quality material used with appropriate thickness to last indefinitely. As mention in previous reviews, take your time and plan everything out based on your needs. Get it all taped in as the directions show. Mark where everything goes on the outside of the tank and then start from right to left and silicone the first piece in. I used a silicone that sets in 15 minutes and cures within 24 hours. Let the first piece set before moving on to the next piece. This is most important for the overflow and bubble trap on the right side of the sump. Because these two pieces are so close, you need to let this one setup so if you bump it accidentally while putting silicone on the next piece, it will not move and ruin your seal. Great product, I would only change one thing. The support that hold the filter socks are a little clumsy. Nylon nuts and nylon all thread would have made for a more secure option. But this way works, just need to be careful when changing out socks. You could put a small bead of silicone on it to keep it more secure. By the way, get the 4 inch filter sock that is 9 or 9.5 inches long. That works perfectly for this setup.

I had to shave the sides of a couple of the acrylic pieces with my oscillating tool to make it fit without bowing the aquarium glass, but once I did everything worked perfectly after being siliconed in

Little bit of a pain in the butt at first but the silicone I used setup super fast so basically the first baffle I siliconed didn’t turn out as good as my next two so work quick also I would start with the baffle furthest away from the filter sock holder and I used my finger instead of the tools sent with the baffles but it’s definitely worth it unless u want to pay 300-400 bucks for a sump I built this sump for $105 bucks I bought a 20 gallon long from petco it was 50% off so the 20g was 25 bucks bought two tube of silicone but one is enough so it cost $100 if you take off the other tube of silicone
