I bought this for my sister who is a new mom to make a mold of her and her baby’s hand and it turned out so well! Super easy to use and made a very big sculpture! Super sturdy!

Such a fun activity to do with my boyfriend. The paint that comes with it is lowkey trash so if you plan on painting your final casting, get better paint. Otherwise, the casting part itself was well explained and easy.

Lasting gift to treasure. Takes some work to complete, but makes a nice keepsake.

My husband and I did this for our "bronze" anniversary and it turned out fantastic! We used bottled water to get the measurements just right since each bottle was 500ml, and a 300ml measure cup. This made the water room temp and the correct temp according to the instructions. He poured in the powders while I whisked and it worked out great, the alginate took exactly 8 minutes on both tester and real deal molds to turn blue, the casts took about 3 hours to harden and please put a bag under it when you flip it because water does come out! I used a weeding hook from my vinyl toolkit i use for cricut to remove the extra stuck in the crevices. While the mold did capture everything pretty well my nails didnt mold with their whole length so I just took a nail file and squared them off to make them all match. Overall the kit did exactly what I wanted and I cant wait to bronze it when it is fully dry. I have it sitting on top of my air purifier so its getting constant dry air to avoid molding issues as per Google told me 😆 also the bigger mold once the casting was poured does get warm and stays warm as it cures so once it sat the 3 hours and was no longer warm on the outside it was a breeze to get the mold out and the alginate came off super easily as well. I hope this helps someone because I was super nervous, my husband has hand tremors and it didnt even matter his hand molded gorgeously! 10/10 very good kit! Oh but my engagement ring had alginate in it so bad it took forever to clean out, channel set diamonds on the band and tension set on the engagement. Just keep that in mind you will be picking it out if you choose to keep an intricate ring on like I did 😉 the smaller cast we locked pinky fingers its cute too 😄

It’s easy to do it came out great and we waited a week to paint it - (btw the gold is not as pretty as you’d think) I put it on the shelf for it to dry and the next morning it had mold growth all over it! I bought another for my daughter and I - I won’t be using the paint this time I will update my review if it works with a different paint

It's just as I thought! It is easy to use, does not stain and creates our figurine to have a memory of the moment when it was our anniversary

Really nice keepsake. Follow the instructions and you should get nice results. The bucket could be slightly bigger for people with bigger hands and we could have used more casting powder to fill the mould, we couldn’t save any to do touch ups like they suggested. It would also be nice to have an extra bucket to mix the casting powder in.

I'm impressed! 🥰First time doing something like this ever and it was simple. You can even see my BFs veins and skin impressions. Even my cross gem on my nail came out on the nail. Super cool. Ok so, Make sure you and your partner remain STILL!! The color will change as it solidifies (means it's working) and you'll begin to feel a tightening/suction feeling around your fingers up to your wrist... after all the other steps are completed-- at the 4 hr mark, we flipped over the bucket. The mold came out. The mold peeled super easily. And the results were BEAUTIFUL! Also the weight of the piece is heavy. Definitely worth the money and time. Great quality 👌
