This thing. This is my second G402 I own. I have owned G502 X, Razer Basilisk V3, MX Master 3s - nothing stands anywhere close in comfort, reliability and quality of build to this beast. It will survive a heavy handed FPS maniac, MMO player, obsessive strategy clicker, all in one person. Quite weighty, but when you simply ramp up your DPI, it'll feel like any other mouse in your hand. Logitech G software is a personal experience, I didn't have any issues with it and have been using it since inception. The build is of very high quality - it feels (and is) sturdy, makes no unnecesary noise, and the rubber that is in contact with your thumb goes all the way to the wrist, allowing much better grip tha any aforementioned mice. The buttons are perfectly placed - nothing gets in the way, even with my meaty hands. And most importantly - that tiny piece of plastic on the right for your ring finger to rest on - you don't need to worry about the misclicks. Expect it to live for 6-7 years with ease. And when the button switch finally fails, go ahead and solder on a new one. You'll get anouther 6-7 out of it.

The first decent gaming mouse I brought and loved, used to use cheap mouses thinking it wouldn't make much difference ooooh boy was i wrong. This mouse changed my opinion greatly, it's the sensor, it's fantastic in this logitech mouse, a cheap mouse if you try to play a shooter game then yank the mouse fast to turn around the sensor can't keep up you'll end up looking at the sky in game or the floor. G402 has great software program aswell i could rebind all the mouse buttons and even emulate keyboard button binds on the mouse button in case a game for whatever silly reason doesn't support mouse side buttons, it had a dpi shift button to drop the sensitivity temporarily upon holding down the button is good for thoose super long range sniper shots. It never really fit my hand very well but i have smaller chuncky hands, if you have longer fingers and skinny hand this'll be a good fit.

good and very comfortable mouse, but the weights on the heavier end, the shape is nice and with a nice rubberized texture on some surfaces adding more grip and control, the mouse clicks are nice and sturdy. fairly big in size for bigger hands and the scroll wheel is rubber and very sturdy and comfortable

Okay so I have been using the G402 for about 2 years now. I'm only coming back to review this because of the fact that I came to buy another one as a gift. It's an incredibly good mouse and is easily the best mouse available in this price range (£30 as of writing this review 02/12/2017). The sensor is fairly accurate and I haven't found reason to question it yet, and compared to the notably more expensive G502 and G403, there isn't much difference in sensory accuracy between the three. The addition of 5 extra buttons makes games with a lot of actions easier to play, in the sense that games where you have to press the M key, or P key or I key...Generally keys furthest away from your thumb or fingers if you're a right handed mouse user. Adding those key functions (Usually something like M for Map, or I for Inventory) and then dedicating them to one of the thumb buttons on the mouse means you have to stretch your left hand less to reach key functions. And it's just objectively better. Especially in a faster paced game like say PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, where more quickly being able to adjust your scope zero distance, or using the extra mouse buttons as a hotkey for the map, and grenade and healing items specifically. Makes for quicker actions and more concentration on the gameplay at hand, instead of having to remember the 10 possible buttons for it that are out of your thumb reach, or going in to your inventory to manually apply items like that. Personally I have rather large hands I'd say, but whether I'm using palm or claw grip I find that the G402 fits my hand perfectly, and I'd say it is generally better for those with hands on the bigger side. In general usage, such as browsing, video editing, or searching along a video timeline when streaming, etc. I've never had a problem. All I can say is for the price, performance and usability, I can't fault it. No fancy gimmicks like RGB, no braided cables. A nice balance of features, ergonomic shape and weight really have proven me useful over the years and they really have allowed me to get better at games over time. Overall. I can't really find a way to fault the G402 at all.

Ik heb heel wat muizen versleten maar dit is een blijver. Deze muis heb ik al jaren sinds hij op de markt kwam. Tot mijn pup er een lekker bijtspeeltje in zag. Na zo'n beetje alle moderne muizen uitproberen toch maar weer deze besteld. Hij is perfect voor casual games zoals WD, AC en CoD SP, precisie tekenwerk (hi-res knop bij duim) en alledaags gebruik. Voor hoog adrenaline games is de latency misschien toch niet laag genoeg. Verder prettig in de hand, licht gewicht maar toch ook zwaar genoeg, lage latency en hoge bouwkwaliteit. Deze kan je onderin je rugzak stampen zonder dat hij kapot gaat. Alleen het logo lampje kan helaas niet uit, maar dat went ook wel.

Pour ceux qui ont l'habitude la G402 Logitech reste le must. Très bon état Neuf et authentique ce n'est pas toujours le cas ailleur. 100% satisfait ! Super vendeur !

Después de una semana de pruebas, recomiendo este ratón sin ninguna duda para gaming y uso habitual. El ratón es muy ergonómico y cómodo, y lo que es más importante, totalmente configurable. Tiene un botón en el lateral para mostrar los DPI (velocidad del puntero) que tiene en ese momento, y dos botones para regularlos. Así pues, dependiendo de la tarea que estés haciendo en ese momento puedes subir o bajar los DPI con esos botones. En total por defecto le ponen 4 velocidades preconfiguradas que se cambian apretando el botón, pero desde el panel de configuración puedes cambiar cada velocidad, configurarlo a tu gusto y ponerlo de manera predeterminada como mejor te parezca. Esto va bien por si quieres tener una velocidad para navegar, otra para usar un programa de diseño, otra para jugar, etc. Es un ratón ideal para gaming, permite guardar perfiles automáticos para cada juego, e incluso ya hay perfiles hechos para una gran cantidad de juegos. Los botones relativos a cambio de DPI no se pueden tocar accidentalmente, ya que están más separados que el resto de botones. Aparte de estos botones, tiene los 5 botones habituales, muy bien situados, de forma que puedes estar usando este ratón horas, horas y más horas, tu mano no se va a resentir. Además, se le pueden grabar macros a los botones para estos juegos, por ejemplo puedes asignar un botón para francotirador, que al tocarlo la velocidad del puntero automáticamente reduzca los DPI para apuntar mejor. Sobre los perfiles que se pueden guardar, puede hacerse en el mismo ratón (lleva una memoria integrada), de manera que puedes llevartelo donde te plazca y conservará estos perfiles. Finalmente, decir que desde el panel de control se puede regular la velocidad de la luz que emite el ratón, así como el efecto de encenderse y apagarse esta luz ("efecto respiración" le llaman). El efecto queda muy bien, sobretodo si tienes la costumbre de trabajar/jugar a oscuras. En resumen, por su alta precisión, recomiendo este ratón tanto para gaming avanzado como para trabajar en diseño gráfico.
