Really good quality product. A lot goes a long way. I thought it was pricey at first but the pack has lasted a long time and I haven't finished it yet.

As good as expected

I have used the fabric based material bonding stuff before, with varying degrees of success. Quite often I will end up cleaning the sole plate of my iron where it has melted onto the bits of bonding material that peeks out from behind one sheet of material or the other. Bondaweb has a paper backing that makes it really easy to apply to one piece of fabric - with zero danger of anything sticking to your hot iron - then you pull away the paper backing to reveal the adhesive to bond the second piece. I have used it to get a smooth seam on some black stretchy material that was driving me crazy trying to sew in a straight line. It worked first time, and the slight extra thickness of the two bonded layers is so smooth it's untrue. Highly recommended, but 4 stars because it is expensive stuff!

I had never tried Bondaweb before but wanted to try my hand at a bit of appliqué. This is really good stuf!! Some people had commented on the small size of the product but the dimensions were included so I got exactly what I expected. Very easy to follow instructions and for my appliqué use, this will last a long time so in my opinion is a great price too. I searched everywhere about Bondaweb and its ability to stop fraying and I couldn't find if it did or not. After trying one little project I can safely say that it does. OK you wouldn't want to pull at the edges too much but it does prevent fraying. V good stuff!!

Product itself is good, works as expected for appliqué. I thought I had read the sizing correctly but didn’t. Be aware, the second measurement is in mm not cm. It’s much smaller than expected.

Packed in sealable bag which is important to avoid the adhesive backing pealing away from the paper. Easy to stitch through when adhered.

Eine andere Interessentin hatte gefragt ob das Vlies ein Trägerpapier hat. Das wurde bestätigt und so habe ich gekauft. Leider ist dem nicht so. Ich habe mich geärgert. Ich kann das Vlies zwar auch benutzen aber nicht für den gedachten Zweck. Hier kaufe ich nicht mehr.

Questa carta è stata una piacevole scoperta. E' utilissima per i lavoretti di cucito creativo e le dimensioni dichiarate sono quelle del prodotto acquistato. In pratica è una carta termoadesiva su due lati e serve per far aderite un tessuto (a cui si può dare preventivamente la forma voluta) su un altro tessuto con lo scopo di coprirne una parte o solo per abbellirlo. In genere si lavora seguendo questi passi: - si disegna sul lato liscio della carta bondaweb la forma desiderata (esempio un cuore) e si ritaglia grossolanamente intorno alla forma appena disegnata - si appoggia il ritaglio della carta contenente il nostro disegno sul rovescio della stoffa di nostra scelta avendo cura che il lato liscio della carta (su abbiamo disegnato) sia rivolto verso l'alto - con il ferro da stiro, seguendo le istruzioni di temperatura e tempo consigliato, si fissa la carta termoadesiva sul rovescio della stoffa che serve per decorare - appena raffreddato è possibile ritagliare, stavolta con precisione e seguendo il disegno, la forma da noi scelta, che nel frattempo si è incollata al rovescio della stoffa - concluso il ritaglio della sagoma è possibile sfogliare la carta termoadesiva nel lato in cui è presente il disegno e con questa operazione si otterrà un ulteriore lato termoadesivo - a questo punto non resta altro che appoggiare il nuovo lato termoadesivo sul dritto della stoffa che vogliamo decorare Abbiamo ottenuto una specie di toppa del colore e forma da noi desiderato e per rinforzare l'adesione tra i due tessuti è consigliabile cucire a mano o a macchina i contorni della figura applicata. Il punto festone è uno dei punti più usati ma è molto interessante anche la tecnica del free motion con macchina da cucire.
