Great value well made easy to put on and take off

These fit great! My husband and I both wear them over our hiking boots. They’re great for cold days and not too heavy. Seem to be very durable. Let’s hope we don’t ever have to find out just how well they work!

We didn't use these on our trip to the desert because we didn't go to an area that we needed them but they are well made and easy to travel with. I feel much better having these for desert adventures.

Very easy to put on and take off. VERY sturdy! They make you feel safe... cuz they are safe! I have snake bite proof boots as well, but being bite proof they are waterproof and insulated! So in the summer you're stuck in HOT boots if you want snakeproof! The Gators have become my answer!

While I have not tested these with a snake, and hope I never will, they fit comfortably enough and the work great for keeping debris off when weed walking. Plus as I have unexpectedly crossed paths with a cotton mouth before buying these, should it occur again I feel much better knowing there is something between it and me should it get the jump on me! Also, as with any gaiter - it does add a layer of insulation - making it warmer to wear. That can be good or bad depending on the temperature. But I'll take warmer over unprotected! Also the knee section can be zipped off if it's more coverage than you think you need. Which is nice to have the added flexibility in coverage. Most other snake gaiters don't cover the knee. I like it because it give more protection especially if getting down for yard work.

EDIT --- After I wrote this review indicating that I replaced these with full chaps, seller reached out. I am very impressed with this excellent seller. As highly rated as these were, I replaced them with full chaps after finding out snakes in my area can whip up and strike you above the knee. They also did not work well for me because they did not stay facing forward despite the straps and fasteners (this could be because I wore thick tall rubber boots under them when I was out in snake areas). There is a plastic shield under the fabric covering, which is stiff and probably would stop a snake.

Have not field tested this product but does cover leg from knee down.

Nice gaters. My leg is skinny so I had to cut one flap off and now they fit great.
