Good quality product
Very happy with this item. Very good quality picture and, I am told, sound. Very east to set up (just plug into the USB) and appropriate sized packaging. Thankfully it arrived very quickly too. Good value ; quality product.

Reliable solid webcam
Still the most solid and reliable webcam after all these years, good clarity and colour reproduction and resolution for meetings.

A hassle free device
For my money, this is a very good, mid priced device. Relatively easy even for dinosaurs like myself to install and use. Good results.

Great quality starter web-cam.
Middle-grade quality for low-end prices. The camera quality is a bit grainy at times, but honestly, it's perfectly good for simple video-recording. I use it occasionally to stream, but I mainly use it as a microphone whilst I do not have space for my Studio-Microphone. The holder is great and stops the camera from slipping when placed on top of my monitor, and is generally very adjustable even when not on the top of the computer. The swivel being sperate from the base-plate makes this a really good product that can work at multiple angles. The camera has a soft blue light around the edges of the camera port. This can sometimes make the camera bad in the dark, and makes the quality a bit grainier at times, but when there is substantial lighting, it works great. Connection is a bit spotty, I've found. Despite being plugged in, sometimes the camera just simply won't work, even though the microphone portion of it works. Only solutions I have found are to turn the computer on/off, plug/unplug the camera, or just wait for it to sort itself out. Overall, really good product, very good price, and a great starter web-cam.

reliable webcam for everyday use
camera quality is as advertised with a good picture/ video so will be perfect for simple needs. i would say if youre wanting to use something for streaming then go for a slightly higher spec camera but this is perfect for things like teams meetings and i personally use it for video calls on discord! the design is sleek and looks good on a set up, not too clunky looking like some other webcams out there. the connection to my pc was easy, just plug in the cable. sorting out the software for actual use is pretty easy too since theres info on their website you can follow or you could watch a quick youtube video and follow along with that! i like the way it has adjustable angle up and down however its not adjustable side to side (although its field of view is wide enough it shouldn't be a problem).

Value for money.
Plug and play. Super simple. Excellent image quality. Working on my M2 Mac Mini. The system sees it as a USB 2.0 type, although I thought it would be 3 by now. However it seems to work ok. It sits up on a tripod nicely, just in front of my mic and iPad stand, so I can use its mic, or my own. Very versatile. Well worth the money.

How is this still THE webcam for the price?
It seems ridiculous to be saying this after it's been around so many years, but yes the C920 is still "the webcam" and you can waste an awful lot of money buying other circa-£100 webcams and suffering through bad software, poor image quality and unreliable hardware before realising as I did that, yes, the C920 is "the webcam" and you find them in just about every meeting room and home office for a reason. It's like if Ford had launched the Cortina and then never replaced it because nobody else had made anything better. It's fine. I use it for work calls, the odd bit of video recording or streaming, and catching up with friends. When well-lit, the image quality is decent. The auto-focus is something you never even have to think about, it just works. It can be managed through G Hub, the settings do what they're supposed to and it doesn't forget them every 5 minutes like most other webcams. My one objection is that it feels like it does metering across the whole image, which with such a wide angle means you can often end up looking like you're sitting in the dark or with some kind of wildly psychedelic white balance because a wall at the edge of the background has a shaft of sunlight falling on it. It's solvable by fiddling with manual controls but I would like some sort of spot metering option to call it a full five star product. That aside... well, what else can I say? It's "the webcam". It has a job, it does it to an acceptable standard, nobody seems to be able to make anything better that doesn't cost three times the price or require an inordinate amount of messing about. That's an endorsement, I suppose?
