Very Useful Kit !
This kit contains everything you need to remove a radiator from the wall to decorate or paint behind it. I bought it so I could remove a very old TRV's and replace them with a more modern Drayton ones, so slight overkill with this kit really. By following the very good instructions included, I was able to leave the radiator full and remove the connection to the old valve, making sure the old valve was in the 'off' position (i.e. 1) first. Only a dew drops of water were spilt onto an old towel, so it lived up to what was claimed regarding leakage. In my case I then needed to 'freeze' the pipe that went into the old TRV, then cut it off before fitting the new TRV. but the freezer etc. isn't included in the kit, neither did I expect it to be. One nice touch was the 'bleed key' that was included, the best one I have come across, so that was an added bonus and a nice touch. There was also spare membranes too, but I didn't need them, as I managed to do my 6 valves with just the one membrane, and it is still OK.

Easy to set up , holds back the water well ,
Perfect ‘ big radiator didn’t have water pouring into container and emptying every few minutes’ saved me time not draining it ‘ while I change the TRV ,

OK, does the job.
The rubber bit that goes over the radiator valve is easily torn. What happened is that I put the device on the radiator but the valve once detached pushed against it as the pipe coming out of the floor had little movement, if your pipes are coming out of concrete floor or wall, you might want to reconsider as this really is useless for such things. Still, we did manage to change a number of valves using it, without having to empty the radiator.

Cool tool.
Had to remove 3 rads to plaster behind,Used the radiator kit and it worked a treat.spanners didn't fit my radiators, but having two adjustable at hand work well.you do get a spare two rubber seals if you manage to puncher one.if you use the radiator kit as a daily tool maybe invest in more rubber seals.I gave this tool 5 stars.

Useless spanners
I tried to use the 90 degree spanner to hold radiator valves steady as I tightened them. Neither end fitted (held steady) any of my new valves - TRV or lockshield. The other spanner was a sloppy fit on brass compression nuts so just used my adjustable spanner. I've not yet used the tools to save draining radiators while changing valves.

Radkit Prof Set
This is a great tool for 1st time radiator removalling. I'm not a expert but removing a radiator with this tool it is very easy to use. My only negative would be that the screw parts are made of nylon plastic, not metal. Still it's a great invention created on Dragons Den, shame they never invested on the product!.. The packaging is good & so is the price, along with the hard casing. I have one tip to buyers try this and you won't need to spend the same price or more on a Plumber, who will always charge you a high fixed price. Have a go but in the end you'll be glad you bought this RadKit Pro. Nothing bad at all against the seller, late deliveries or problems on the items. I will rate this as 100%. WELL DONE!!

Not entirely successful
After watching the videos of these in use, I thought this was going to make disconnecting the radiator so much easier. In effect, it didn't quite go as on the video. About an ice cream tub of water came out before I could get the clamp membranes in place. Once in place, they seem to work pretty well. At which point, I turned the radiator upside down for storage. As expected, there a few additional drips leaking but nothing major. The spanner was handy, but the rad spanner didn't fit the connections on my radiator pipes. Hence, overall, it would have probably been just as easy to avoid the expense and drain the radiator into a bowl.

Radkit- It works
Bit apprehensive as have never taken a radiator off before. However the kit did what it said on the tin. Seals look a bit flimsy but do the job. However there did seem to be more than a couple of drops of water leaking out when disconnected but again just tip the radiator upside down. Only downside is the plastic thread on the clamps. Would feel much more robust if made out of metal. I bough a couple of screw on compression stop ends from screwfix for 1.99 to seal the system valves whilst the radiator was off the system just in case..... Lves
