Meguiar's G18216EU Ultimate Liquid Car Wax 473ml Pure Synthetic Polymer Car Wax

This product comes in two versions Liquid and Paste, the former can be applied with a rotary polisher and is ideal for this giving good results always. The product is easy to apply and remove, however it is advised do a panel at a time, apply the polish, let dry then buff off. When using an electric polisher it is advisable to have two polishing heads, one for application and the other for buffing, or just change the polishing bonnet. However it is better to have two as the buffing head needs to be dry as possible. Meguiar's G18216 Ultimate Liquid Car Wax once applied will leave a long lasting shine and give protection to all painted surfaces, however it does depend on how the car is kept, if in a garage then protection will be greatly enhanced or if kept outside under a cover, left in the open then the protection will be reduced needing more applications to achieve best protection, however outside be prepared to do at least two applications to get best results. The reviewer here uses the product as often as needed as the car is out in the elements be it under a cover when conditions permit and achieves a very good result .

This is another amazing product by Meguiars! Not necessarily this pack (as you’re paying extra for a sponge and a microfibre!) But the LIQUID WAX itself is an amazing product. I’d recommend looking on YouTube for a tutorial on how to apply properly, but it’s as easy as wax on, wax off (with some curing time) I have a white car, it really helps bring out the metallic in the paintwork, it leaves a slick feel and finish to the paintwork. Also it makes it easier to wash in the future (I’m not saying dirt and road salt doesn’t stick to the car, but it makes it easier to remove with just a hose down/light sponge) Please see attached photo of the water beading results 👌🏻 You will not be disappointed! 10/10

I used this on my car for the first time ever a few weeks ago and am simply amazed how good it is. In the past I have used the standard wax products, but having got a new car, I thought I would give it a lash, and boy was I glad I did. after waxing the car, which was surprisingly easy, i had to go to Aberdeen, a round trip of over 300 miles, on roads completely saturated with salt and soaking wet, spray all the way. I couldn't wash the car for a few days after i came back and when i finally had time and daylight. I hosed the car down and started washing it with the Meguiars shampoo, and the dirt simply ran off the car and hardly needed any washing at all, to be honest the wax was almost like a Teflon non-stick coating , and the hose removed about 95% of the dirt before I started washing it. That is now about a month of salt ridden driving in the Highlands now, and the beads of water are still really small and perfect. on the other hand, I waxed my works new van with another leading wax last Friday and although its still beading, they are no where near as good as the Zafira a month later! I sadly weighed the bottle before starting and again after, and used about 30g to wax my Zafira, so all in all its not really expensive, at less than £1.00 a time. Well impressed and a total convert to this product.

Having been impressed with the polish and compound by Meguiars on my black car, i thought it was about time to treat it to a good wax. Having used a verity of different products before this was a good test to see how it faired. Much like the polish it was easy to apply and nice to remove. Some polishes leave a horrible chalk like finish, the Meguiars didn't. The wax then goes over easily, again with all things prep is super important. Don't think just slapping this on a car will make it look great, you need to prep it. Ideally, wash, clay, polish and then wax. If done right the paint should feel smooth to the touch, this way the polish and wax go on easy and come off clean. The wax must be put on sparingly, don't go over board, more isn't better, you're better doing two coats. Rub off after it's dried nicely, with the supplied towel, and you're left with a lovely shiny car. The finish on mine looks great, it's super smooth to the touch and the rain now just runs off. Value for money, this is tricky. There are some waxes ten times the price, do they do a better job, I don't know. But for most this probably sits at the mid to top end price wise, as you don't need a lot i think it will last a good while, and for longevity it seems good so far, three weeks and it's still doing well. A second coat will be applied soon so that might change things. All in all, very happy, now the suns coming out it's making cleaning the car a lot more enjoyable, and this finish really tops it off!

After purchasing a shiny new black car, I was keen to keep it that way. However, after spending a few hours washing / waxing and driving 100 yards down the road, it looks grubby again, unfortunately this is not the waxes fault but my own fault for buying a black car! Lesson learnt. Meguiar's wax works brilliants and is effortless, glides on with ease and polished off superbly. A recent incident in the supermarket, some baffoon who needs more driving lessons scratched the front wing putting a nice light blue line down the side, of course they drove away without doing the right thing... after jumping up and down I got home and gave Meguirer's a go to shift it. It did a great job, nobody (except me) knows it is there. Superb product for those who use supermarkets.

Es un producto fácil de APLICAR por dos motivos: 1º) no deja manchas en los plásticos 2º) tarda en secarse con lo puedes aplicar cera en todo el coche y pules al final. PRESENTACIÓN viene con una esponja y una gamuza para pulir. Ambas son de buena calidad ACABADO deja un buen brillo PROTECCION vivo en Galicia, la tierra de la lluvia. Repele totalmente el agua, es más, si para de llover y estás con el coche en marcha escurre toda el agua en un minuto como si el coche estuviera envuelto en un plático. DURACCIÓN duracción muy buena. son varias las veces que he labado el coche sin aplicar producto y este se mantiene perfectamente.

This gives an outstanding shine

I think this is a great product because it is easy to apply and clean it off. You only need to wipe the wax off once. Very small amount of the liquid should be put to the provided applicator.

Esta cera líquida es una belleza, a primera vista me pareció cara pero decidí darle un voto de confianza porque “por algo la venden, ¿no?” Me tarde en usarla porque preferí limpiar muy bien mi camioneta y los resultados son impresionantes en el color negro. Sin ser un recubrimiento cerámico tiene buenas propiedades hidrofóbicas que era mi principal meta a lograr. Claramente te das cuenta donde sí has aplicado y donde te falta, apliqué dos capas finas Justo después de usar el ultímate polish compound y los resultados fueron de 10/10. Recomiendo ampliamente la combinación de los dos si tienes swirls en tu pintura para obtener los mejores resultados. Los resultados los obtuve con un pad aplicador y removí la cera con los trapos amarillos de chemical guys, inviértanle porque de verdad el detallado lo hace súper sencillo que de otro modo con otras micro fibras baratas no lograrías tan fácil

Nice wax, easy to buff out. The results are good and the protection lasts quite some time. My tip is to apply it during warmer days, so it is easier to spread and wax it. Doing it by hand on a colder day can be harder and the results not so optimal.
