Fantastic piece of kit, would recommend for a patio project. Easy, fast, slice through slabs.
Like the previous poster, I would ignore the negative comments. For the price tag this is a fantastic piece of kit, would recommend for a patio project. Easy to use, fast and accurate it sliced through our 20mm sandstone slabs no bother. Having never used one of these before, and generally anxious about saws and power tools, I can confidently say that it brought confidence to our patio project and made light of the cutting tasks. Now we've used it I am selling is second hand. Yes, it doesn't come with a blade, but any good project planner should spot that an order it at the same time. £10 on here for De Walt, but Toolstation also do them with adjustable bores for £3. Best to have a stock in case you blunt it. Biggest qualm was fitting the water injection piece. My partner had to figure it out as the diagram was B&W, but once its on it is on. You do have to manage your flow rate, and pay attention to it not coming off while cutting, but you pick up the knack of it. Make sure you are have a good cutting workstation set up and your water and electricity separate and it is fine. Once its going, there was little kick back and a good flow of water to keep it moving. Cuts excellent straight lines but its easy enough to shift about if you are going off track.

Good quality
This tool works quite well and is generally effective for my needs. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the pipe tends to leak a bit of water during use. I also have one suggestion for improvement, it would be helpful if the product could clearly indicate the maximum cutting depth in the description. The title mentions a "110mm cutting disc," which can easily be mistaken for the cutting depth. In reality, the actual maximum cutting depth is only about 33mm.

A couple of tips for using this machine
I bought this machine to avoid generating a lot of dust for my neighbours, by cutting 28mm concrete paving slabs, as well as 100mm concrete blocks. It will cut about 30mm deep, so it won't cut right through 100mm blocks, but I cut all around and then used a hammer to knock the offcut off, then a chisel to tidy the remaining bits. It cut clean through a 28mm concrete paving slab. A great machine for the price, and perfect for my single diy landscaping project. What it didn't come with is a small tap to adjust the flow rate near the machine. I bought a small inline 1/2" tap on ebay, item number 323316467495 You still have to very carefully turn the flow of water on, as with too much flow rate the connector just pops off. I also bought a reducing bush so I could use 115mm 22mm bore blades : "Spectrum JRB22-20 22.2mm - 20mm Reducing Bush" ebay item 391909146708 And finally I could then buy Turbowave Diamond Blade 115 x 22mm from Toolstation, part number 83764 I believe this blade can be used wet or dry, but I can't now find the reference that proves this. By providing this information I am not guaranteeing these products all work together properly, nor am I vouching for any of them, I have no association with any of these sellers. I provide this information as it took me a bit of research to find what I needed to make this tool really easy to use. All I can say is all these parts work well together for me. Great machine to make cutting dust free. I guess not for professional use, but perfect for my diy garden landscaping job. Hope the above helps someone.

Poor instruction manual

Bit rough, NO BLADE, no instructions, terrible water system
Water connection i terrible. It seem to be a copy of an old DeWalt system from 15 years ago. Mine came without instructions AND without a blade, despite it being pictured with one. The SMALL print says that it comes as a bear unit without blade. So add £20 on for that. I think because of the terrible water ystem it will go back but I'll see how it runs first. Compared with the old DeWalt one, it does seem to be a little rough around the edge (also there's no RCD - add £20) albeit it appears to be a copy of it.

Bought this 2 years ago. Came back today to add another picture and increase the number of stars.
22mm Limestone paving slabs. Cuts really quick and smooth. One important thing is that the disc spins upward at the front at cutting edge so it's throwing all the water/dust slurry in front of the cut so it's impossible to see the line I'd drawn on the slab. Other reviewers have said that the water pipe isn't very secure. It is a strange attachment but I have various pond plumbing attachments so had no problems attaching it securely. With water running it lubricates and cools well and cut quickly through the slab. But with all the debris being thrown up in front of the cut I couldn't actually see where I was going. So no use at all for accurate cuts trying to follow a line. I disconnected the water feed and simply held the hose pipe in front of the blade to wash away all the debris and keep my line clear. Doing that and I had no problem working and got all my cutting done accurately. Added a picture. The picture is 22mm limestone slabs. Didn't use the water feed - couldn't see where I was going with all the water slurry being thrown up in front - so i disconnected the water feed and just held a hosepipe on a low flow in front of the cut to keep the front clear. I'm more than pleased with it. By the way. That's the first time I've ever layed or cut paving slabs. 2 years later and it's still cutting well. I just can't stop doing curly paving. I now use one of those pressure garden/plant sprayers. Disconnected the the spray gun thing and put the hose directly into the cutter. Works perfectly. Just enougb water to cool without splashing everywhere. If I could give more stars I would.
