Setup is easy enough, just plug in all the cables where they belong and hock it up. In the box you'll find a picture where the cables go. Perfect to save a working screen from a dead laptop. No power supply came in the box but not a problem for me since I hooked it up to my PC's main psu's 12volt line reducing cable clutter. And it makes for a great travel screen.

Good packaging, everything worked flawlessly, sound and image, I'm even able to set the resolution to 1920x1080 60hz

I've connect it to a 10 year old laptop screen with a 12v 4A power lead . Using a raspberry pi 3 B+ through a HDMI it works perfectly

Had this for a project and worked absolutely perfectly for the first few uses but unfortunately it didn't last long at all, correct power supply used.

Really cool idea. Removed a screen from a dead laptop and am currently refurbing it into a stand alone monitor for extended desktops. Not only has this saved me around £200 on a swanky new monitor, but it's also given me a fun project to focus on during the lockdown.

I had bought this LCD kit to recycle my old laptop that was not working anymore and had about 10 years lying in the wardrobe corner. I decided to take the screen and turned it to a monitor with this kit for my cctv monitoring.

Definitely does the job. But take note, there is no power cable for it. It takes about 9v 2amp with type n barrel I think.

Ho utilizzato il modulo per ridare vita al display del mio vecchio laptop...prima esperienza in questo campo ma sinceramente non ho trovato alcuna difficoltà nel montaggio. Funziona perfettamente e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Se poi si ha un po' di voglia e manualita si può arrivare anche ad un discreto risultato estetico!

The card works very well and consumes little energy (12W card + screen). Note: a good quality and stable power supply is required (2A minimum), otherwise the screen will flicker.

Der Controller war gut eine Woche nach Kauf da und sehr schlicht, aber auch so gut verpackt, dass dem Produkt trotz komplett gefaltetem (!) Pappumschlag im Briefkasten nichts passiert ist. Und ansonsten macht der Controller genau das, was er soll, nämlich dem Monitor aus einem alten kaputten Laptop zu neuem Leben zu verhelfen. Ich habe den Controller für 23 Euro während des Prime Day erstanden, für den Preis einen funktionierenden Monitor zu erhalten UND sich dazu noch als Recycler fühlen zu dürfen ist schon sehr preiswert. Nachtrag: Erste Testäufe mit dem Monitor fanden tonlos statt, inzwischen wurde testweise eine Soundbar an den Klinkenstecker des Controllers gehängt und auch hier macht der Controller keinerlei Probleme und liefert einen ordentlichen Ton ab.
