I wanted to share my thoughts on this product as I have gallstones. These enzymes have helped with the horrible bloating some foods cause. Prior to taking these I started experiencing more intense pain after eating and bloating, followed by gas. so I did some research and came across these. I was quite doubtful if they would work but I they really have. They have help reduce those symptoms by a 70% I would say. Everyone is different so it might work differently for you. I highly recommend these.

I'm so happy with these, just annoyed I didnt try them sooner. Im a petite size 8, exercise and am very careful with my diet. I always seemed to have a bloated tummy though- as soon as I ate anything I looked 6 months pregnant. This annoyed me so much as I work so hard to eat well. I went to the doctors on multiple occasions- IBS suggested and also sent for scan. Nothing found. I just resigned myself to thinking that I had to live with it- this has been for years. I've tried medication and charcoal - nothing worked. I got these tablets 2-3 days ago and the results were instant. I've been taking 2 with meals. No more uncomfortable bloating, my tummy is how it should look and when I wake up in the morning it's flat!! I'm going to try alter the dose and see what's the lowest amount I can get away with as I'm a bit worried about taking so many. I'm not if this is connected but I have a very active job and was hungry all the time- often waking up in the night with hunger pains and having to eat. Since taking these tablets this hasn't happened and I haven't felt as hungry during the day. I feel like I have a normal stomach at last!! Would 100% recommend for bloating- it's definitely worth a try and I will be buying again.

Very good product but.... I suffer from indigestion and Im on regular Omeprazol 20 mg tablets which didn't feel is enough and in the morning I used to have horrible acidy burn in my throat. I had to use extra Rennie tablets. With Quest Enzyme all this has gone. I started to take one tablet with breakfest and two with lunch and dinner. It felt lovely my stomache and all gases gone as well and tummy was nice flat :). But unfortunatelly I started to suffer from constipation, had to take Senna tablets and stop take QE to be able to have my bowls open. Now I'm taking only 2 tablets with lunch or dinner, depends which I plan to be bigger but still need to take senna. I never sufffered from constipation (at least so regular). I'll continue to take QE and see how it works for me in longer time?

It's oral supplement and it's not easy to critique factual information, when you cannot see the internal process of your own digestive system other than measure by your habits and feelings or second-guess with a hunch of what you might think is happening. I do not have sensitive stomach and was not experiencing any pain or bloating to say it made a difference to me in that sense. I suffer from medical condition TMAU and needed something more holistic than laxatives to put into my digestive system. The natural ingredients like peppermint and other various oils is what appealed to me. The natural approach is not only holistic but also more friendly to the body. The price £14.01 seems reasonable.

Many people are treated for excess acid heartburn when in fact they suffer from not lack of acid heartburn. Symptoms are bang on the same. You have to make a test to find out which one is it. But when you know- these magic pills will offer massive improvement in your condition. My stomach was irritated after long flu from pain killers I took. I had terrible throat pain (left on side tonsil) and bad cough to go with it. I had round of antibiotics and very strong pain killer, which not helped at all. Then I one night I realised that something is sipping back from my stomach when I lied down, and actually burning my throat. Tried gaviscon - that only helped for few hours. Finally I spoke to the right person about it, and they asked me to do test, and guess what: no acid in stomach at all, no digestion as well especially protein. Here came the magic pills - I take them with every meal planning slowly reducing intake until my stomach is back producing HCL and enzymes to digest. But from day one improvement was massive.

According to reviews, many people are happy with this product. Unfortunately I have felt unwell since taking these (nausea, headache, gut issues). I cannot have gluten, wheat, rye or barley and did try to contact the manufacturer to determine where the maltodextrin was derived from - it is mentioned as an ingredient 3 times on the label. To date, the manufacturer has not responded to either of my two enquiries (I tried via Amazon and online direct to the company). Edit: I have since received a message from the manufacturer saying that the maltodextrin is derived from corn. However, I prefer not to take supplements containing maltodextrin and I won't be ordering this from Quest again. I did not notice any improvement in digestion at all, and my gut function has worsened.
