I’ve had this display port to HDMI adapter for a few years now and it’s still working perfectly as I use it on a daily basis. I originally bought it to connect my old MacBook to an external monitor and it’s been completely reliable ever since. It’s one of those little gadgets you plug in and forget about because it just does the job every time. The build quality is really solid, the braided cable has held up well with no fraying and the gold plated connectors still look as good as new. It’s been unplugged and reconnected loads of times over the years and never given me any connection issues or flickering. Overall I’m really pleased with how well it’s lasted, for something so small and affordable, it’s proved to be a great little bit of kit. Definitely worth picking up if you need a dependable adapter that’s built to last.

Fantastic product. I will admit I was worried that the cable was reinforced with nylon, however the quality is first class and is holding up perfectly. The ends are metallic, and have resisted scratching. They look sleek and have a smooth finish. Gold plated connectors mean there is minimal chance of this adapter failing. Good, snug fit with my devices. The cable itself is flexible, but it holds its shape in the most part if you need it to. The adapter is about 25cm in length. Long enough for most use and you could always purchase a HDMI extender if need be. The picture quality is as expected. Full 1080p supported. Works like a dream with my Mac, no latency and no setup required, just plug in and go. The lifetime warranty leaves you in safe hands, however I feel I will not be needing it because the quality is really that good! Would 100% recommend this product. This surprised me. Didn’t expect much but it’s better quality than the £20 OEM ones. I ordered a couple that didn’t work yet this delivered. Couldn’t ask for more.

The quality is fine and it worked. When plugging the Mac into different TV's the result was different colours in on the screen. It may well be that the way the TV interprets the signal is different. The Samsung TV showed normal colours while the Sony TV had a pinky purplish hue and wasn't suitable for quality viewing. I'm happy enough but would like it to be consistent. Four stars because it's capable of working fine, quality is good, postage and packaging were good and delivery was on time.

I bought this to connect my iMac to my television to play DVDs. The television has HDMI input and I have a HDMI cable, but the mac doesn't have a HDMI output, so I needed this thunderbolt-HDMI convertor. It does the job well, it carries both the picture and the sound and the quality is good. It was very easy to use, as soon as I plugged it in my mac automatically started mirroring the screen on the tv. The one downside of the set-up is that there isn't a way to turn the image off on the mac screen, so either you can have the same image on both, or a different image (i.e. it treats it as a second screen side-by-side), but either way the mac screen has to be on whilst watching stuff on the tv. My workaround is just to cover it up with a piece of cardboard because otherwise I find it distracting. Overall I'm happy with the cable, it does exactly what I need.

Mini display ports are out of fashion now but if you have laptop with a mini display port and a broken screen then buying a cheap remote screen and connecting with a cable makes sense. This Mini Display Port to HDMi adaptor has worked perfectly with my old MacBook Pro which is now back in the land of the living connected to my new Arzopa screen. Does the job perfectly and seems good value to me.

Just ensure the spec you’re looking for.

As the title said, it worked fine at first, but after a while it started causing strange problems and eventually, 11 months after I first got it, it's stopped working entirely. As a short-term solution, go ahead, but if you want something that will be problem-free after 5 or 6 months, look elsewhere.
