It’s a useful barrier for acid reflux. It is what it says it is.
I bought to create a barrier in my stomach due to acute reflux, and this did that. It’s weird stuff, but palatable. I stick it in a blender with some other bits and bobs and then.. as long as I don’t then drink or eat after.. it does that. The residue gel type stuff it creates does then get attached to the inside of the blender and it takes special attention to make sure it’s clean and there is a gel type substance that leaves a blob in the washing up bowl or sink, and so be sure to take that out and out it in the bin, as washing it down the sink is not going to be easy and definitely won’t help with the fatburgs that blocks the drains etc. But.. when I can bring myself to making it and drinking it (it did feel a bit like swallowing frogspawn (though I apologise for creating that image) but as I don’t tolerate antacids and this does actually work better IMO, I do still recommend it for that, and it demonstrates that this is what it’s meant to be, if you’re buying it for other purposes.

Good
Value for money, quite bulky. They are good, does what it says. Used this with another product in order to make popping balls with various juices.

make your own reflux solution
I bought this as it was recommended to make my own reflux drink like gaviscon, half tsp of this with a crushed tums tab and a tin bit of bicarb and water, makes a thick gel.

As described
Not much to say, the container was difficult to get into and it doesnt re-seal with confidence, the product itself is exactly as advertised.

Great product with no side effects
This is a good product. I use it to make my own alginate-based antacid (10 g Alginate, 3-4g Calcium Carbonate, 5g Sodium Bicarbonate in 200 ml of boiled then cooled water). It also doesn't affect my gut-brain axis like normal Gaviscon/Peptac does.

Is what it says
I use this to make up a cheap version of Gaviscon advance, mixed 5:1 with potassium carbonate. I mix in Turmeric and licorice powder as well, and pop a quarter teaspoon in my mouth with water after meals. This makes it ideal for travel as it's a dry powder and much lighter, as well as much cheaper. In the Canaries you can't buy it anyway, except in very expensive tablet form.
