Nice small model
It’s a nice, sweet and small model ship. According to my six year old who is quite the expert on the Titanic (he certainly knows more than me), it’s an accurate replica. He loves it. Re durability, it is a small model and so it is quite fragile and delicate. My son uses it a bit roughly as a toy but that way, he has lost a few features. Can’t fault the model for that.

Perfect first Titanic model kit
As a long time model ship maker and Titanic enthusiast, the 2011 release of their 1/700 Titanic kit is the perfect starter kit on the legendary liner. The scale is perfect, extremely detailed and very work able and with aftermarket detail sets available, such as 1/700 scale photo etch brass parts such as window frames, railings, stairs and much more, the kit can be easily split between a first time builder and that of a experienced builder. Even as a straight out of the box build, for the money and the scale with level of detail, the final result is that of a supberb display piece.

Title: A Delightful Titanic Model Kit
I recently got my hands on the Revell 05804 Titanic model kit, and it's been a truly delightful experience. The quality, scale accuracy, and the opportunity for personalization with this unbuilt/unpainted kit make it an excellent addition to my collection. The attention to detail is remarkable, the assembly instructions are user-friendly, and the 1:1200 scale is perfect for display. Whether you're an experienced model enthusiast or a beginner, this kit offers a satisfying and enjoyable project. It's a fantastic representation of the iconic Titanic, and I'm very pleased with the end result. Highly recommended!

Great little kit!
I'm not sure what some other reviewers expected. This is just the plastic parts, instructions and decals. You will need to buy glue and paint separately, as is the case with all model kits that don't state they include these things. The parts aren't too fiddly but you'll need bright light and careful hands or tweezers. The painting was good fun; admittedly I did it once the whole thing was assembled and not bit by bit. Overall this is a lovely kit, would suit a patient child of 12 or over, or any adult.

Decent, but very flawed
Overall, this set is decent, but not one of Revell's strongest works. I'm an average model-kit maker myself and bought it assuming it would be easy enough, but there were more than a few problems in the way. The kit has a good amount of detail to the ship itself, with many small parts that add to the authenticity, but this is also a problem, as the set features numerous small stickers that are almost impossible to apply given their sizes (image for reference included, with a utility knife for size comparison). Some parts are easy to confuse for one another due to a lack of distinctive shapes, while others are so small they're easy to misplace as soon as you cut them off the sprue, which leads to my next problem. The plastic itself is incredibly brittle, and many pieces snapped before they were even removed from the sprue (images included). Other times the pegs didn't actually fit in the holes, despite being absolutely certain they were in the correct places, meaning I wound up having to cut off the pegs completely and glue them into place. Plus the instructions are difficult to read, as they're printed in black-and-white despite needing to refer to paint colours, which are only referred to with letters. NOTHING in the instructions actually clarifies which colour is which. You'll have to infer that from reference images, which leads to a lot of confusion when you're trying to check it quickly. Bottom line, if you want a Titanic model kit, you can do worse, but you can still do much better than this one.

Very poor quality, flimsy, cheap and too many breakages
Bought this for my son for a school project and did not realise that it was to be painted after assembly, I'm not sure if this wasn't made clear in the description or I missed it. Nevertheless it was too late to do anything about it and we proceeded to build it. This was honestly the worst thing I've ever spent my money on, some of the pieces was far too fine and flimsy and broke when attempting to detach them from the plastic frame. We ended up with missing poles, lifeboats etc as they just came apart. Luckily I had a hot glue gun which is the only reason this ended up staying together, minus the broken parts. Would not recommend at all. The end product looked awful, had visibly missing pieces that had broken and it was clear that the pieces didn't fit and was being held together by a ton of glue.

1 Day Quick Build
I only gave myself 1 day to build this (school project) and was very impressed with it. Pros - Easy build. Descent level of detail for scale. Very little/no fitment problems. Cons- Decals... a nightmare, probably due to size. (especially trying to fold the flags, gave up on 2). Really enjoyed making this kit and even with the size and time I gave myself to build, its a great looking model. With more time I would of rigged the stacks and probably made a neater finish etc.. but still nice. Will take a look at Revells other small ships after this.
