Item arrived promptly and does exactly what it’s meant to do, giving the switches a clean, modern finish. After isolating the circuit at the main fuse box, I was able to fit the surrounds without disconnecting any cables by simply loosening the screws. The key is to place the surround on at a diamond angle, tilt the switch slightly, get two corners through, then straighten it to ease in the third and fourth corners. The photos included show this clearly and should help others fit them with minimal effort. One important safety note: even after isolating the downstairs circuit, one switch was still live as it was linked to the upstairs circuit, so using a voltage tester before starting is strongly recommended. Overall, good value for a six-pack and a tidy upgrade. Hope this helps.

A little damage round the switch area after some work, covers it up nicely and looks okay, saves redecorating, cheap and cheerful, turned up quickly and in good condition, plus it’s easy to fit, if you know what your doing. Always take care with electrical work.

It does the job, but i did not like the 'raised' cut out. Done without in the end and sent back with no issue.

Good value. Great product. Universal fit, so will work with most all socket / switch type outlets. Easy to fit and looks great. Only attempt to fit it yourself if you are confident enough though, as you will need to remove the wiring for the cover plate to fit behind the switch panel. I was ok with it, but get an electrician if you are unsure.

The plastic is VERY shiny so require sanding with a fine paper before painting if you need to match them to the existing paintwork. After doing this the paint bonded well. Also worth noting they do not fit directly around the outside of the switch - you will need to completely disconnect the switch and put the wiring through the plate before reconnecting. Personally I'm OK with this but not everyone will be. In the end they worked well and looked good.
