For the price solid choice, only on my first batch so not sure the longevity but seems good quality espeshally for price, no issues yet

This is a very strong bin. It looks like it will put in a few years of service. I had to finish off the holes and remove the burrs, to avoid destroying the rubber grommets and washers, which also look like they are well constructed and should last. My 3 concerns are; 1 the hole for the tap is potentially too low, I suspect there will be sediment picked up when using the tap. 2 the top does not seal. I will use vaseline to see if this resolves this issue. 3 there is no cap for the bubbler, I will have to cobble one up. I will report back after this first batch of plum wine. After using this bin I would like to say that the lid does appear to seal reasonably well, despite my earlier worries, sadly the tap snapped and a litre or two was lost. The bin is still good.

Ideal for making up a sugar wash and the breather hole works a treat to keep the smell down.

This setup is just ideal for my more bigger fermentation's, good quality I thought and all the bits I needed come with it, thanks from Matt.

Excellent for the money. Lid is difficult to remove . Tap could be higher to avoid decanting sediment!

Nutzen diese Behälter oft zum Bierbrauen. Gute Qualität und Preisleistungsverhältnis. Entspricht der Beschreibung.

Ein gutes Produkt der Marke BROWIN aus Polen (die auch einen eigenen Direktversand haben). Was wurde geliefert: Ein großer Eimer mit Öffnung für die Entlüftung, der dazugehörige Syphon aus Kunststoff, ein Hahn mit Dichtungen und ein Deckel. Das ganze mit einer Skalierung und aufgedruckten Anweisungen für die Bier- und Weinherstellung (Polnisch/Englisch). Es ist kein Produkt für die Ewigkeit. Der Eimer hat die Eigenschaften eines großen Farbeimers (benötigt man die Skalierung nicht, kann man auch einen solchen verwenden), hat aber eine Freigabe für die Verwendung im Lebensmittelbereich. Der Deckel lässt sich nur gegen Widerstand öffen und hat ein Gebarden, dass man tatsächlich mit dem Deckel eines Farbeimers vergleichen kann. "Knack" muss nicht heissen: Eimer kaputt. Es ist tatsächlich das unschöne Geräusch, dass einem sagt, dass der Eimer jetzt offen ist. Das Material ist hart und wirkt ungewollt spröde. Umso mehr Vorsicht bringt man beim Anbringend des Hahnes auf- hier muss man tatsächlich satt in die Dichtung eindrehen (Vorsicht! Nach fest kommt ab!), damit der Kamerad dicht ist. Aber dann arbeitet er auch durchaus verlässlich. Mir hat der Behälter wirklich geholfen und seinen Dienst gut erledigt- und er wird es die kommenden Jahre auch noch tun. Vielleicht bekommt er ja noch eine Bruder... Insofern kann ich diesen "Eimer" durchaus empfehlen!

Ich nutze sie zur Herstellung von Met. Mit dem Zapfhahn kann man zwischendurch probieren und auch sehr gut nach dem Schönen/Klären ablassen! Alles in allem für die Met Herstellung eine gute Wahl.
