Purchased this as a Christmas present. The recipients loved it and says they really like the size and portability plus the sound quality. It impressed a family visitor enough that she now wants one too and asked me about it! Price is also great and is apparently easy to use (if you are already familiar with record players anyway).

I love this portable turntable, I forgot how much fun it is to play a vinyl records. The sound quality is just Soooo different, the sound it makes when you lift up the arm and place it on the record, the way it crackles and pops on the record from the small dust particles, but the music is just so lovely when listening to it through a record player, it makes you feel “alive” and for me brings back some good old memories :) The Portable unit came in a faux baby blue leather case with chrome accent features which gave it a look from the 80’s. I was born in the very late 1970 (cough) and my entire family listened to vinyl records so I was Very excited to see how well they have come along in sound and designed. To be honest nothing has really changed. Back in the good old days the vinyl record players would be on top of your hi-fi system which had two big old speakers plugged into the back of the hifi. Unfortunately the record player I received had a faulty motor. The full length LP albums played fine. However the singles kept stopping short of the end. That said the product seems well made, and looks great. I love the retro pale blue look with the metal corners. And although there was a problem with the motor, the sound quality was fantastic. However, as there was a problem I contacted the seller who promptly contacted me and offered a full refund. It’s a shame the one I received had problems, it really was a lovely record player. And I may well order another as I still need one. But I received such amazing customer service, and the product was lovely, I felt it warranted a 5 star review and explanation.

Okay so this thing is cool for what it is like a budget-friendly, retro-briefcase-style vinyl spin starter with Bluetooth vibes. You can connect your phone and other devices wirelessly, and it plays records at 33, 45 and 78 RPM which is kinda cool for the price!!

I bought this for my 21 year old son for Christmas. The record player is aesthetically pleasing but unfortunately is unable to play high quality records without jumping. I’d bought my son 4 records and only one played without jumping. This was rather disappointing so I had to return it. I was very impressed by Amazons easy return policy and received my refund within 3 days.

My son received a signed record as a gift and asked me to buy him a record player to play it on. He only wanted something cheap, just to play it a few times. What a mission to find cheap but on this occasion not buy twice. I'm a strong believer in spending the extra and get something of quality that will last and not wasting money on cheap tat. I must say that first impressions are very good, especially considering the price. I'll confess that it's a gift and has not been given yet so I haven't tested it with a vinyl. I have however opened it to inspect it and connected it to my mobile via the Bluetooth. It was very easy to find and pair. The sound is in fact surprisingly good considering. Plenty good enough for a little indoor party with the old records. I packed it up back into the box and I'm now excited to see his face on Christmas day. I'm confident he'll be over the moon. On this occasion I think 'cheap and cheerful' would describe the player and my son's feelings.

I love the way it looks. The colour is beautiful and it feels very lightweight to carry around. The Bluetooth connection worked straight away. I am disappointed by the sound quality though, and for that reason alone I am debating sending it back. The new vinyl records cost too much to justify playing it on a player that doesn't do the sound justice. I will say, the sound seems to be better when the lid is closed and music is playing through Bluetooth. But of course, that defeats the purpose of purchasing a vinyl record player in the first place. I am disappointed as I waited excitedly over a week for it to arrive only for it to not live up to expectations.
