Cooler Master Hyper 103 CPU Air Cooler '3 Heatpipes, 1x 92mm PWM Fan, 4-Pin Connector' RR-H103-22PB-R1

The Cooler Master Hyper 103 is a great, cheap CPU Fan. Priced at £19.99 (Purchased from Amazon Prime NOW app) it actually cools down my AMD Athlon 860K clocked at 4.3GHz as good as a Corsair Hydro Unit. First the CM Hyper 103 says it needs 158.5mm space to install, my PC case, an AEROCOOL VS-1 says I can only fit 155mm. I managed to fit this into my case with a lot of room left over, barely even near the PC case side. My temperatures on stock Athlon cooler were 48C Idle. I am now getting 22C Idle on this. Temperatures while gaming, FFXIV Ultra are stable at 33C using the CM Hyper 103. Stock temperatures were 65C while gaming. I think its fair to say this is a brilliant product. Make sure it fits into your case and also the Blue LED is pretty amazing. As for noise, I can't give specifics but it is noticable MUCH quieter than Athlon stock cooler. I can barely even hear this Cooler. Installation was super easy, took me 8 Minutes. You can find guides on Youtube for it but all screws and brackets are provided. Thermal paste tube is included! I have had this Hyper 103 Cooler for about 4-5 years now. So to begin by saying it has been very reliable and build quality is excellent, since the Hyper 103 cooler is working as well as the first day I started using it. One thing to note that this is a fairly well sized heatsink/Cooler and will need a case that can handle this sized cooler, not only for size but also to allow for access to the 4 screws. The heatsink base is a aluminium base with the copper piping directly exposed to the CPU for effecient heat transfer, one note is that the base is not glass smooth, this however has not had any notice negative effect. I bought this since I do not run my CPU's at stock, I never have. I have overclocked an FX-6300 and FX-8320 with this CM Hypewr 103 Cooler and it has handled the temperatures very well. The Cooler has had no problems with the FX-6300 even nudging the CPU over the 4Ghz mark. Now the FX-8320 runs a fair bit hotter once over 4Ghz and during a torture test the CPU is maintained at around 58C. Average daily running on the FX-8320 is between 25-30C and under gaming load it reaches around 40C. Due to this effecient heat dissipation the Cooler will generally run very quietly. The point is this is an excellent Cooler for its price, unless you plan on seriously pushing you CPU to the edge this will more than handle you CPU heat.

When this cooler arrived the first thing a did was give the instructions a once over. Then i proceeded to check the contents, everything was there EXCEPT one screw. After looking over the instructions a little longer i realised that the missing screw was in fact a tool used to tighten up the nuts on the underside of the motherboard. You do NOT need this tool (you can simple use a socket and finger tighten the nuts). And I'm guessing they decided to remove it to cut cost, but they should have also reprinted the contents to reflect this. The cooler itself is very good once fitted and didn't take too long to install. My CPU temps have dropped a lot compared to the stock AMD cooler i had before, although the fan is a little loud at 100%. Would recommend downloading a program such as speed fan to lower it to 90% when idling as it become's a lot quieter.

So far so good. Replaced my older water cooler with this as I wanted a cleaner look in a new Lian-Li pc-90 case (couldn't stand the rigid pipes from the W/C). I must say it looks great and temperatures are hardly any different (25 on idle). I'm not an overclocker so couldn't comment on it's use for that, but aesthetically it's clean and nice solid piece of kit! Absolutely no problems for £20!! Definitely worth it, I wouldn't say it's massive either, just bigger than any stock cooler.

This is amazing and one of my best investments, I did have an "ARCTIC Alpine 11 Pro Rev.2" but it wasn't giving me any satisfaction, I was getting around 40-50 on idle and up to high 80-90's when gaming.. I ordered this straight away, and I'm now getting around 23 when simply browsing and watching movies and around 39-43 when gaming on Ultra on high demanding games, I've not even seen it hit high 40's or over yet. It's always around 800rpm so it's pretty quite. It's a large cooler so make sure you check things before you order, I believe it's around 158mm from the bottom to the top. I have loads of room left using the Corsair 100r Case. The blue led is a nice touch, with it was an RGB or even an option to turn it off, but i'll be investing in blue corsair LED fans to match the theme now. I'd high recommend this if your a gamer or simply a browser, it'll keep your pc cold and running quite, remember if your pc hasn't got a big enough back plate cut out you will have to remove your motherboard to install the cooler mount, be careful doing this. A lot of tutorials are on YouTube if you get stuck and don't have interest reading instructions.

Extremely hard to install. I found the screws too small meaning the brackets have to be forced down to install this. It got to the point where I felt the motherboard was going to snap. This product has a very poor installation. Spent 1+ hours trying to get this onto the motherboard properly. The cooler keeps my cpu 5 degrees cooler at idle but has a horrific installation due to short screws.

Nice fan love the Leds keeps my computer very cool. But it can only be installed to face either side in my case which isn't ideal but that's my own fault

iGPUを使用するようになったことと、メモリーをXMPオーバークロックしていることから、リテールのクーラーからこちらのクーラーに。 アイドリング時はファン回転も低いので、ＣＰＵ温度は３５度前後ですが、ＣＰＵ高負荷時に本領発揮！各種ベンチマークを実行しても、ＣＰＵ温度は60度前後です。リテール時は８０度を越えていたので、大満足です。 なんといっても、底面にヒートパイプが露出していて、ＣＰＵにパイプが直結する構造が効いているのだと思います。それと、同梱されているシリコングリスが銀入りだということも。この価格帯の付属品としては珍しいのではないでしょうか。おかげで、一緒に買ったシリコングリスは使わずじまいになりました。 電源オン時や最高負荷時のファン音は、私はそれほど気になりませんが、どうしても気になるという方は、ファンを T.B.Silence PWM UCTB9P に交換されてみてはいかがでしょうか。風量も42.67CFMと、オリジナル(43.1CFM)と遜色なく、最高ノイズは30dBから21dBに下がります。 再レビュー ＣＰＵのオーバークロックへの対応度を確認するため、マザーボード(ASUS P8Z77-V PRO)のＴＰＵスイッチをＯＮにし、BIOSはいじらず、Windows上でフリーソフトの「Core Temp 1.5」を起動、CPUクロックが定格の3.5GHz→4.2GHzに上がっているのを確認後、同じくフリーソフトの「Prime95」というストレステストを実施しました。 テスト時間を短くするため、負荷テスト設定をFFTs=2048Kと重くして実行。メモリの負荷も合わせてCPU負荷100%(Core Tempの負荷表示で確認)で20分稼動しましたが、まったく落ちませんでした。 念のためテスト中はCore Tempで温度チェックしていましたが、テスト開始から5分くらいで温度上昇は止まり、安定しました。テスト後にCore Tempの最大値で確認すると、ＣＰＵ最高温度はコア #2 の76度でした。後のコアは69～71度。 やっぱり、優秀なＣＰＵクーラーだと実感しました。

Estoy renovando mi viejo HP, cambié el procesador, fuente de alimentación , amplié memoriaRAM, nueva tarjeta de red.. el cambio del ventilador del procesador era obligado ya que la temperatura se ponía al rojo vivo. Elegí este que era compatible con mi placa y funciona estupendamente, la temperatura de mi PC esta ahora por debajo de 50 grados en cualquier tipo de trabajo que hago, cosas normalitas eso si. Es grande, muy grande en principio pensé que no me cabría en la caja. El montaje es entretenido-que no dificil- como digo, ya que al poder instalarse en multitud de placas con socket distinto tienes que montar el que te corresponda y ademas tienes que levantar la placa base ya que viene fijado por debajo de esta.

Il dissipatore si presenta molto bene sotto il profilo estetico con dei led nella parte superiore e delle ventole con pale semitrasparenti illuminate da led rossi con un effetto fumo-nebbia, sotto il profilo delle prestazioni il dissipatore fa il suo dovere, con un i7 4790 clockato a 3.9ghz a pieno carico, le temperature non superano i 58°C le ventole in idle sono abbastanza silenziose (800 rpm circa) mentre a pieno regime (1600) rpm sono rumorose.il dissipatore è ottimo attenti solo al corriere(TNT, SDA), che nel mio caso ha praticamente distrutto il pacco di yeppon.it che era stato preparato con molta cura e non mi ha permesso di mettere alcuna firma

La temperatura in idle rimane sui 30° molto meno rispetto alla ventola di casa Intel... Ci sono però un paio di cose da tenere sott'occhio: questo dissipatore è abbastanza voluminoso, non tanto in larghezza (nel mio caso c'è ancora abbastanza spazio in tutte le direzioni prima di raggiungere RAM o scheda video), quanto in altezza. Nel mio case ci è entrato, ma in uno slim o in un case comunque un po' strettino potrebbe faticare (o se avete una ventola del case all'altezza cpu, come nel mio caso). Seconda cosa è il metodo di installazione: le istruzioni sono spiegate decentemente, però l'installazione prevede una piastra, presente nel pacco, da inserire sotto la scheda madre. Se comprate come me questo dissipatore per un upgrade del sistema di aerazione, potrebbe essere un po' scocciante, come ho dovuto fare io, smontare il pc pezzo pezzo, per poter alzare la scheda madre ed inserire la piastra al di sotto. Per il resto, come già detto, dissipazione ottima, i led blu fanno un bell'effetto per chi come me non ha mai avuto led all'interno del case, e la rumorosità non è eccessiva. La pasta termica inclusa nella confezione sembra funzionare a dovere (non saprei dire se è a base siliconica o metallica), ma poichè stiamo parlando della cooler master, non penso ci sia troppo da preoccuparsi; per chi vuole essere però scrupoloso 7€ e passa la paura con le paste termiche ARTIC
