We’ve been using this for a few months and the quality is great. Only issue I’ve noticed, sometimes when flushing, a slight amount of water from the top squirts up and out of the toilet. It was easy to assemble, I like the style where you just flush with your foot, easy to clean, comfortable to sit on, looks more like a regular toilet than most RV toilets.

Works great , was a direct replacement for the aqua magic IV that was in my 2004 Outback . Has a slow closing lid. The foot valve is much more hygienic than the old model with a hand valve .

Used as a replacement for a 40 year old motorhome toilet. Took 10 minutes to install and works great. It is approximately 2 inches taller then the original. Came with new seal and bolts.

We had a THETFORD toilet in our old camper ( 16 years old) the seals were not holding well. I reluctantly bought this one ( thinking new thing are just not made the same) To my surprise, this one is great! a bit different bowl and probably an inch taller. But it is comfortable, flushes well and no more lid slamming down. I would buy again.

I’ve had this a couple of months and it’s terrible. Now there’s black tank smells leaching from it even though there’s water in the bowl and sealed. I think it must be due to this large gap and extra height to the toilet. I contacted Thetford and they claim they’ve never heard of this happening. It’s so light weight and cheap. A waste of $150. Going to but the 42059 which they claim is more like my original toilet.

For being a toilet, it sure is great. Easy to install, comfortable enough. The pedal to fill with water and flush is simple is easy and it’s mostly quiet when refilling

Excellent toilet, don't waste your time trying to repair your old toilet with cheap aftermarket parts.

Replaced our Dometic rv toilet with this make and very happy to say it was an easy process. Had to do a plumbing adjustment for the water intake only. Very happy with the slow close lid and the water flow keep the bowl cleaner that the Dometic we had. And the price was 1/3 of the other brand.

Purchased the THETFORD Aqua-Magic® VI Low Profile to replace the Aqua Magic IV (which is discontinued) that was in 1998 Triple E Topaz 5th wheel camper. The VI was lower than IV which was ok because i was able to shorten the water supply hose. However the base of the VI was longer which required removing some carpet and base board on the wall behind the toilet. It worked out good.

I bought this to replace the no longer available, 30 year old, Thetford Aquamagic IV in a travel van. It is a direct replacement so no changes to the mounting hardware is required but it does include new bolts and a foam seal. It is slightly taller than the older model and as such you might need to lengthen the water supply line. Overall very pleased with the new unit.
