Husband thought he'd never use, uses it all the time
I purchased this as a random little gift for my husband. I bought it with camping in mind as he goes usually for a week or two a year and always ends up bringing a hammer and screwdrivers etc. I thought it was kind of pointless to carry all that so I got him this. He did give me a strange look when he opened it and said he wasn't sure he'd use it. Within the next few days I witnessed him tightening a bolt on a chair with the pliers, using the hammer to assemble a toy and using one of the blades to open something. By his own admission, it it is left somewhere in the house he has easy access to (ie not packed away with camping gear or in the tool box) it is very handy for little things around the house. The case it comes in means we can throw it in a drawer and use it when needed. It is good quality. Only concern my husband pointed out which we have not yet experienced is that when using the saw it starts to close on you as you use it and the other blades also creep out. I'd say use with care, but great for little jobs around the house. I haven't found an excuse yet, but am mostly looking forward to testing the axe on something. It does feel sharp, but I can't imagine it chopping up more than small branches off trees or bushes in the garden. I'd recommend as a little household tool. Great for little jobs,

There are a lot of multi-function tools but this has to be in the bag
As with all multi-function tools, you need a good set of gloves with a reinforced grip or will get bad blisters on your hands. Putting that aside, this is one of the best of its breed: hammer and axe and saw in combination. Screwdriver bits are not that useful (as ever on these tools) so do add a proper screwdriver set to your kitbag, but rest of the tools worked. Axe and saw will both need regular sharpening so dont forget the tool sharpener. Size and weight: surprisingly compact and light. The hammer does not substitute for a mallet for tent pegs unless you want to smash a few thumbs and fingers but whole tool came into its own for raft building and construction of a temporary shelter as well as making a fishing rod and bow and arrow. Supplement with a decent saw wire for larger branches and you can use the end of the handle of the larger multi tools as a dibble eg handles on shovel or pick tools, to hammer in tent pegs - just avoid the ones with the gimic of cheap compasses (now smashed) in the handle!!!

Great bit of kit
I was surprised at the quality of this bit of kit, at first I thought it would be a bit of a cheap gimmick but pleasantly surprised. As an outdoor guy it has proved its worth and is great for short trips out, processing small wood for a small log fire (camping, bush craft wood gas stove). The small axe sharpens up well and if treated properly keeps a good edge. Of course dont expect to fell large branches or trees with it but for small work its great. Sturdy, robust and fits on belt nicely so you have a variety of useful tools for out and about and around the home.

Good for the price. But some drawbacks.
On the positive side, the tools on this are all mostly of reasonable quality for a multitool this inexpensive. The axe is very sharp and works quite well. The hammer is also quite effective. The knife blades and saw are quite sharp. And the screwdriver and spanner are both ok. On the negative side. The pliers/wire cutters are not all that good, especially the wirecutters which don't really work. But the gripping part of the pliers can be useful for pulling out nails. The axe has a flimsy plastic guard to put over the blade when not in use, and it fell apart very quickly, forcing me to improvise a makeshift one. Perhaps the biggest drawback to this, is that there is no mechanism to hold the fold out tools in place when they are unfolded, there is no spring mechanism like on a Swiss army knife, or lock to hold them in place. So you have to be very careful when using the fold out tools that they do not fold back on your fingers! Because of that I cannot give this five stars. However, overall, given the low price this is a pretty good piece of kit, the axe and hammer, the main features of this are worth the price on their own, just don't expect Swiss army knife quality.

Good quakity. Recommend for home use.
Very useful tool. Axe eventually wore through its rubber scabbard but the tool comes with a pouch so isn't an issue. Very sharp instruments and convenient all in one tool. Pretty weighty. The plier fastening clip at the bottom bent when gripping so could be more sturdily made but overall tool is of a very high quality and I use it often around the home.

Cheap quality
The clip that connects the hatchet side to the hammer side is worthless. It is a flimsy piece of rubber-band like metal, that, after one or two light-impacts with the hammer (to a nail in my case), pops open wildly almost ensnaring your finder in the jaws of death! The area in-between the hammer and hatchet/axe-blade part aligns poorly btw, the picture makes it look flawless, but it is aligned like a snaggle-tooth. Ok looking, fun for a day, but over all, cheap cheap cheap design, which i'd be ok with if it didn't lead to failures during use!

A tool of all tools
More tools than you could ever need. Great for the caravan, car or kitchen cupboard. One tool does all, you don't have to go rummaging around everything is at hand...literally. Great to use and really very sturdy.

Good all round camping multi-tool!
Gave one each to my boys for their camping equipment. They love especially the axe for firewood making, also the hammer, which should serve them as a mallet... Only let down is the poorly fitted cover of the handle, as their screws tend to come loose and fall off.
