Do not Listen to the negative reviews, these have been fantastic! I have bought these 4 times, and have never been disappointed! 3 multicolor packs and 1 brown. there is often a very unique one or two pieces, one time I got some kind of reptile leather. The smell fades over time, its to expected if it is genuine leather. its a fantastic value, thick, durable, with some soft suede occasionally. all pieces are always the same size.

Lots of colors and options here. I'm at the "let's ruin a lot of material" stage of learning the ins and outs of laser cutters. This isn't fine leather, but you'll get a lot of little projects out of this and it's really good value for the money. Tiny down side, it stinks. You'll have to let a project air out for a day or two before showing it to anyone. But it stinks less than laser cut leather, so I have to air things out anyway. (For those who haven't done it, laser cutting leather is essentially incinerating a cow and giving the remains as a gift. Two days minimum to air out.)

Really nice product to work with, but the smell is so strong. I can smell it throughout my house. 😬 Quality product outside of the smell though.

I took a risk in ordering these and the reviews were right, they are absolutely stinky! I don't know where this seller stores these pieces but they smell nasty. I have been trying to air them out and it made my whole house STINK!!! I am not exaggerating, I could smell them from the other side of the house. I could not air them outside since we are in the middle of winter. I am lighting scented candles to alleviate some of the smell. Some of the pieces after being aired out for a few days now smell like leather but most of the other pieces have a moldy, musty odor and that is not coming out. If the smell persists after a week, these will have to go back. Can't use some of them because the back of them are discolored, have glue residue, permanent marker markings, for I wanted to make jewelry out of these. Only good thing was they did come in an assortment of colors but that's it.

I've bought this set twice now. I bought the original one to make little leather notebook covers as gifts. the first set I made were the travelers notebook passport size. then I made a custom one a little smaller than a sheet of printer paper folded in 1/2. and then I made another set to cover 2 of the field notes size booklets. the variety is nice as far as color, thickness of leather, and style of leather. I feel like it's a great value. it's a very quick project to make a cover - I have some of the elastic (in several colors, so I could sort of match to my leather piece), and I use a Japanese screw punch for my holes. the size of all the pieces as they come are fairly consistent - cut to rectangles. I bought the second set to make some more covers. I'm very happy.

I really was hoping for a good outcome with this leather, especially after reading reviews from many about the odor. I took a chance, hoping to get a batch of leather that didn't smell. No luck on that one. I could smell the musty, moldy odor through the heavy cardboard mailing box. It was bad! The room I opened the box retained the odor for quite some time as well as my hands, even after washing. I loved the leather. There was a good mix of type and colors, though much of it was in the brown, black, and tan range, there was white, pink, reds, gold, silver, and yellow. Some of the pieces had mold on them, you could see it and a few pieces had a bent corner or two, but they were all a good size and quality. I really wanted to use it but the smell was an issue, even if it was aired out I believe. Might take another chance and try for a different batch later. It would be a great deal if not for the odor.

Good quality leather and a very nice but consistent variety. I never thought I would say this, but, the quality of the sheets made me reconsider my aversion to ordering leather like this. For the first time since I started doing leather work 15 years ago, I am not disappointed in a single sheet in this entire pack. I immediately ordered the colorful variety pack within the first 10 minutes of opening this package.

Smells like mold and color selection was not impressive lots of tan/cream but that I can handle. Haven’t decided if I would order again. Depends on if I can get the smell out.

Prepare yourself for the utter lack of diversity (3 coloured pieces and 27 pieces of black, brown or grey), stained or marked pieces. Just spend the money on better leather. Utterly disappointed and smells like mold.
