Outdated but I just love the iPod Classic

pretty good, some bits of sand and things can get inside but better than no case!

Online, the case was what I was looking for so I purchased it but only after a few days the front became scratched all over. I handle my IPod with care and that is why I bought this. It looks nice but the quality is not so good as the black front does not keep. The scratched are terrible and ruins the look of the case- disappointing product.

I just received a slim 160GB iPod Classic for Christmas and while it looks very sleek and shiny now, I was afraid it wouldn't stay that way for long without a little help. I didn't want some rubber or silicone case that covers up the classy design of the iPod itself, so I began browsing the hard acrylic cases that are out there. This one seems to be the best by far. Its clear back piece allows you to see that nice, shiny iPod showing through, while the front has a fairly tough piece of textured aluminum (in black, to mimic the front of my player). It's a fairly simple design that just works well. The clear screen cover gives you a great look at the iPod's screen, and the side cutouts do allow you access to all ports and buttons. It's only going to be defensive against scratches, nicks and the like...there's no cushioning or shock absorbent material inside. So if you plan on dropping your iPod a lot, you may want to look elsewhere.
