JAY-BE Supreme Folding Bed with Micro e-Pocket Sprung Mattress and Automatic Folding Legs, Compact, Small Double,Black

Needed a temporary bed solution for a home office/small bedroom to use occasionally. We ended up buying the small double bed to give us capacity to have more guests in limited space.The bed arrives almost complete in its box (we just needed to attach wheels and the headboard. These were (for me) straightforward jobs and the tools I needed were in the bed’s packaging. The legs come down automatically as you open the bed, so it was easy to put up and fold away. The mattress is a bit thin and soft so might not be a long term sleeping solution but our overnight guests (adult and a young child) said it was comfortable and they slept well. Long term, I think we might invest in a mattress topper for added support/comfort.I wouldn’t use this as a permanent bed but it’s ideal as a temporary guest bed and is exactly what we were looking for.

Our spare room is quite small and an awkward size. We had a double mattress on the floor for the occasional visitor but it precluded using the room for anything else.I'd been watching this bed on Amazon for a while and jumped at the chance to buy it once I saw it had reduced to £149. Delivered the next day (Prime), it's quite a heavy beast but is clearly well made. It is a doddle to put together, two screws for the headboard and four casters to screw in. I can't believe some moronic purchaser has only given this 3 stars as they couldn't be bothered to put it together until late Xmas eve - very unfair.It unfolds really easily, the automatic legs are good. I haven't slept on it yet but I know a comfy bed when I lie on one (I used to sell them!) and this is a really nice mattress.I would say it's a little short. I'm only 5' 6" so no problem for me but someone tall might have legs dangling over the end. It's a small double at 4 feet so quite 'cosy' for two adults, but it's an occasional bed so what do you expect...My only real criticism is a minor one in that to close it, two plastic clamps hold it together on each side. These aren't attached to the bed to they could get lost. Still nothing worth docking a star.I was pleasantly surprised to find the cover included so this now stands against the wall and I now have a spare room I can build a wardrobe and computer desk in.

This was perfect for what we needed, my 17 y/o daughter was coming to stay for a week and she found this comfortable and had no trouble sleeping, bearing in mind she is petite, it may not be comfortable for larger folks. Its a little bouncy, so when you shift around theres a slight bounce. We purchased the double and this had plenty of space for her, the single I think would have been too small for a week. It folds up against the wall pretty compact and with the headboard affixed - that can sort of be used as a shelf (although they supplied no screws for this).

Wasn't that comfy & didn't last too long. It broke after a few months. Mattress is very thin. Disappointed.

I ordered this bed as i was expecting more family over christmas than i could sleep. It arrived 2 days after being ordered which considering was over christmas was amazing. It was well packaged and easy to assemble, i was going to let my son and his wife sleep in it but after assembling the bed and lying on it to try it out changed my mind and decided to sleep on it myself, and i,m so glad i did, it was as comfortable as my own bed i had a tremendous nights sleep and would reccomend this product to anybody. It,s easy to fold up and store in corner of room when not in use without taking up too much room. I LOVE IT

Very disappointed. We purchased this bed because we're having work done on our bedroom, and needed a temporary place to sleep. On assembling, one of the screw in wheels wouldn't screw in, meaning when the bed is folded, it would lean.By the 2nd night we could feel the bars in the base. This got worse and worse over the next 2 nights until the bars at the top and the bottom of the base (which the springs holding the mesh which support the mattress attach into) came away completely. They weren't even welded, just jammed in place. I emailed jay-be and informed them of this manufacturing fault....they weren't bothered. Just continued to tell me to take up any problems with Amazon. It was sent back, and we got a full refund. I wish we hadn't bothered, as it was a nightmare sending it back.
