Hair Colouring Brush and Bowl Set

Over the last few years I have somehow become responsible for dying my Wife's hair for her... It used to be easy when she had a single colour, but in the last year she has become excited by having two colours, and this has become more difficult for the likes of me who have no hairdressing experience (I own a Land Rover Freelander, which The Land Rover Owners Club insist is "a hairdresser's Land Rover", but ownership apparently doesn't bestow Hairdressing expertise...) Anyway, I bought this as a cheap brush set to see if it would help me speed up and improve the dying process, and I wasn't disappointed! The set is exactly as described (brushes and a little plastic bowl) and to be honest I don't see any need to spend any more than this! They do the job perfectly well; The brushes pick up dye and transfer it to the hair, allowing you to get close in to the roots, and spread evenly through the hair. The bowl is large enough to accommodate the average pot of hair dye and does a perfectly adequate job of holding hair dye (the purpose for which it is intended...) Overall a great little bit of kit, which speeds up dying, improves accuracy and application, and doesn't cost the earth...

Why didn't I buy this years ago? I've struggled with bottles of dye, squirting out way too much at the back of my head where I can't see, and generally making a splodgy mess and overlapping previously dyed hair. This set makes it so easy. Mix the dye in the bowl, dip the brush in the dye and paint it onto the hair. Ridiculously easy after years of battling with nozzles that squirt out too much one minute then block up the next. The beauty of applying dye with the brush is that you can get exactly as much as you need on the brush and can see how much you're putting on. No splodges or overlapping. Dye also goes on more evenly with the brush than it does when you work it through with your fingers, the brush pulls the dye through all the hair strands. It's quicker, so no more arm ache, and it's less messy, and covers hair more evenly without overlapping. The brushes wash out easily and it's high a quality set. A brilliant buy for anyone who goes through the regular ordeal of dyeing their own hair at home.

Great little bowl if you need to just dye your roots and not your whole head. Good price but the delivery was awful and it took agrs to get here but if you are in no rush then great.

Have to say these aren’t bad Glamour collection hair colouring brush and bow but I found that the bowl was a very light plastic and a bit flimsy but overall it’s okay

I would recommend that anybody who wants to dye their own hair at home gets one of these, even with the easy bottles etc. It makes it so much easier to do the hair, especially at the roots. I bought this so I could put some colour in our Daughter's hair during the School holiday and it made it so easy to do the hair and took far less time than the way that the instructions were suggesting. There isn't a great deal to say but it is cheap, super easy to clean and makes life so much easier.

I am happy I made this purchase, I used to struggle while doing my hair coloring but this is a game changer and i absolutely love it

Brilliant product, arrived quickly and was so pleased with the quality, great value for money. It was the first time I had coloured my hair, but with this kit I felt like a professional, I have long hair so needed to use two packs of colour and the product fitted in the bowl all in one go so didn’t have to do two lots of mixing, the brushes were perfect for separating sections of hair,so pleased. It was easy to clean and is tucked away ready for next time.

PRICE - I have paid under £2 for this item, can't complain USE - I dye my hair with henna (mehndi) therefore this is ideal to mix in - Brush is perfect to applying henna in hair - Cleaning very simple - I've been using it for almost a year now (once a month) and it still is the same as day 1 - Strong material DELIVERY - 1 bowl, 1 brush, 1 brush/comb - This was purchased as an add-on item and came on time (Prime delivery)
