A friend of mine has been using oil to shave for years, cos I suffer from sensitive skin he told me to use his oil and see how I get on with it. Well from the first shave with the hot oil you need a hot blade too, the shave was awesome I'd say the best shave in years my skin is in a much better condition. This oil is the only one I've used and it's fantastic, as you pore it out onto your hands it's hot oil then rub it well into your stubble. Your like me never go back too shaving gel or cream. This stuff Rocks.

I bought this as my normal shaving oil was out of stock but will now use this American Crew Oil. The oil gives a pleasant shave even with a longer stubble. The little bit of heat when you apply the oil is really satisfying as is the smell and the way my skin feels moisturised afterwards. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and used frugally it will last a long time. I highly recommend this shaving oil.

As others have said this Shave Oil is Awesome. Used prior to shaving gel/soap as a base gives a very clean and close shave. Scent is good not overpowering, 3 to 4 drops is all I use therefore extremely good value. Would definitely recommend this oil. If your thinking of going down the oil route at least give this one a try.

I've been using this for a few years now. I only bother to shave twice a week and this shave oil is excellent. Always get a good, clean, comfortable shave. But my!! It's got expensive in the last year!!

I find it difficult to believe that wetting my face with warm water then rubbing in a few drops of this oil gets me the best shave I have ever experienced. And it works every time. No fuss, no soapy mess, so simple and clean to use. The result is just a very close, cool, refreshing shaving experience. Sadly it took me a long time to find it. I have clearly been living in a time warp using old fashioned and unsatisfactory methods. But no longer!

I usually shave using King of Shaves oil and a Braun wet/dry electric shaver. I thought I'd give this product a try after reading good reviews. It is slightly more gelatinous than K of S. It is clear and has a strong smell of cloves; slightly unpleasant in my opinion. Not much is needed, but it tends to dry out as you shave, meaning you have to break off to wet your face again. Washing with soap after shaving is required to clear the smell of the oil. I won't to be changing from King of Shaves - in fact I have put this away in the bottom of the bathroom cabinet.

I love this product. I have thick black hair and use it as part of my shaving routine. It's got a very nice smell and it really does help protect against irritation and makes the experience of shaving more bearable. It washes off very easily and leaves a nice light tingle and feeling of freshness. Recommend the product. The oil itself is very light but effective, as I have said before, it has a nice smell, it tingles but does not burn (at least for me, skin test to make sure). It feels very smooth going on. It is not at all harsh and does not feel sticky either as some oils do. It washes off easily and does not leave any greasy feeling on the skin. The oil lasts long as you only need a relatively small amount per shave - although I guess this will vary with individual usage. However, as it's inexpensive I think that even with more frequent need to repurchase it will not be a costly investment for most. The bottle the oil comes in is nice also, the pump works well too although sometimes sticks - this could also be down to the individual bottle rather than being a problem that everyone will experience. I'm going to buy my second bottle.

This is great stuff, I've used a few shaving oils and this is by far the best, its called ultra gliding and thats the perfect name as it really does. 3 pumps, massage into beard and I had the closest most comfortable shave ever. It does say that you can use it under other shave creams and gels but in my opinion, its great on its own. The only downside is it smells a bit like bacon and cloves but thats a small price to pay for such a great result.

I have a very difficult beard. I am fair-skinned and my beard is dark brown--almost black--and coarse. To get anything approximating a close shave, I have to shave "against the grain" of my beard, but with regular shaving cream, this results in a horrifying bloody mess. For many years I used an electric razor to avoid turning my jowls to raw hamburger every few days, but I was never satisfied with the results or with how long it took to get those lousy results. Then a friend told me about shaving oil, this brand in particular. I can shave with a blade every other day and get great results. I use a "Mach 3" blade and 5 drops of this oil, and that allows me to shave as close as I like, in any direction, with no irritation whatsoever. It's also great for shaving my Kojak-style bald head. Oh, and this stuff smells great, too. It's got clove oil and some other fragrant essential oils in it. I think the oils help keep my skin soft and smooth. I should also mention that one bottle lasts me several months, in case you are put off by what seems like a high price. Anyone who shaves with a blade owes it to him/herself to try this stuff.

Shaving with oil is so much better than using soap foam. This is an excellent shaving oil. Just two or three drops is all you need to lubricate your razor. After your skin will be nourished by the oil rather than died out by soap.

Non si sbaglia mai con questa marca. Olio pre barba che a differenza d altre marche pari livello, non impiastriccia e non unge eccessivamente. La lametta scorre liscia senza incappare in nessuna increspatura. L’ho provata su una barba molto lunga e la rasatura è stata perfetta. Fragranza fresca, cn lievi sentori di menta, nn eccessiva.
