T.Flight Stick X - Ergonomic Flight Simulator Joystick with Adjustable Resistance and Wide Hand Rest for PC

I am not a serious Flight Sim player, but I do like to have fun shooting stuff out of the sky, and also like a bit of fun on Flight Sim X. I have to say I was very impressed with the Thrustmaster T Flight Stick X. I use it on PC and it was just a plug-n-play situation. The keys are nicely positioned and it feels sturdy enough that you know it will last. Good ergonomics and the buttons and throttle / twist action all make it an enjoyable addition to your game playing for what it not a lot of money. Personally, I would really recommend this one..

I use this on my PC to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It's a great combination but flying is still pretty hard. That said, it didn't cost hundreds of pounds to find out flying is hard (compared to buying a more expensive HOTAS setup)

I feel this is a high quality product. It feels solid and stable when used. The buttons are positive and accessible, including the hat toggle and so forth on the joystick stem. However, the throttle control could be better in terms of being more prominent above the curved surface of the joystick base.The contoured hand part of the joystick is very well formed. I have quite large hands (10" span from thumb tip to little finger tip) but the contours of the joystick feel just perfect to me. Another reviewer stated he couldn't use it well because of his large hands. I don't know why, it seems fine to me.The force of the joystick can be modified with a control knob on the bottom of the base. This screws back and forth, adjusting the resistance of the degrees of movement the joystick can make in the X-Y axis. There is no vibration or active force feedback system on this joystick.I have had no issues with it working on Windows 7 (Home Premium, 32 bit), just literally plug & play. I also like the practicality of being able to work with in on my PS3. I've used mine for Microsoft FSX on my PC.Nonetheless it feels a very well built and a reliable joystick for the price. I'm pleased to give it 4 stars, dropping on star for the throttle control not being prominent enough.M.

The thrustmaster, oh how you put my keyboard to shame. I brought my thrustmaster to use with IL-1946 and arma2. The joystick itself is a USB badboy,the stick is study and gives off abit of resistance, it has a look function on the top and of course a trigger to shoot those silly soviets out the sky. In total their are 12 buttons excluding the throttle. it also has a preset and mapping feature(but being a free spirit I've never used it) Being the one and only joystick I've ever brought, I am loving it. It was easy to set up and within 20-30mins of adjusting it I was on the eastern front shooting down yak's and a hour after that I was flying my huey through small arms, all in all a great bit of kit.

I am extremely pleased with this stick in every respect so far. Unbelievably precise in movement control with no `wander`. Same with throttle control, stays exactly where you put it. Comfortable to use and buttons a plenty. Large base does require quite a bit of room but really does create confidence in stability during play. No need to `wellie`this stick all over the place, the easiest and slightest of touches brings instant and precise responce. I doubt that this stick can be beaten or even equalled in it`s price range.
