useless
the only thing this is good for is turning the lights on and off other then that its useless 1-i have to say specific words for it to do something other wise it wouldnt do it 2-i ask her about the call to prayer and the times and she doesnt understand 3-it always has to be plugged in to work other wise it wont and thats just the 1st day of buying it

I bought the Echo Dot (5th Gen) on October 29th, which was a Christmas gift for my son. The gift was delivered on December 24th, 2024, and it was on for 10 days and did not reconnect, it always stays on the red light. The damage is to the equipment.

Amazing customer service, but feature missing in my region
I bought this Echo Show mainly for my mom so she could use the Fatafeat recipes feature that’s printed on the box. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in the UAE Alexa keeps saying it’s unavailable. I contacted Amazon support and spoke with Fawaaz, who was incredibly polite, patient, and understanding. He explained the issue and forwarded my feedback to the team, which I really appreciate. The device itself is fine, but I hope Amazon updates the product listing and packaging to make it clear which features work in which regions. It would save others from the same confusion.

أتمنى فقط ان تعدلون كم شي و تهتمون ل أليكسا السعوديه لان فيه أشياء كثير ناقصه و التطبيق يعلق و فيه ميزات ما يمدي أتحكم فيها بنفسي لازم اتصل صعبه جدا
