OXO Good Grips GreenSaver

Have been using these for quite a while and they seem to keep my fruit and veg drawer fresher and produce does last longer than without.

I buy these to preserve the fruit for longer and they do work. They usually last for at least 4 to 6 months.

I have been sourcing this product for months. So happy to be able to get it because OXO Good Grips Greensaver Carbon Filters really do help to keep my vegetables fresh in the fridge.

Much cheaper than the manufacturer’s replacement part for my fridge and does the same job. Really does keep fruit and veg reader for longer, especially if you remove any plastic from the produce first. I can certainly tell when the filter needs replacing as produce deteriorates much quicker.

I bought these as I was getting fed up with food going off too quickly. They are a great idea, and as the pack of 4 filters were only £12 I was fine, but now the only filters available are a pack of 8 for £42. I refuse to pay that out as they cost more than my container.

Works well

The OXO Good Grips Saver box is brilliant. With the filters fresh herbs like Coriander and mint and green chillies etc stay fresh and good looking for way beyond their expected death in a fridge under normal circumstances. We do nto know now where to put so many boxes but for things like cheeses its magical too

These filters work quite well to keep your produce fresh for much longer. I find them a bit expensive for 4 filters but they do what is expected. I would recommend them.

If you're going to use these wonderful vegetable keepers, PLEASE don't make the mistake I did of letting the filters run beyond the 3 months. I ignored the 3-month reminder from OXO to my chagrin...my veggies started to get spoiled whereas when I first started using the bins, I was stunned how long my fruit and veggies stayed fresh and crisp. I have all 3 sizes: OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Small OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Large (2 of these) OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Medium (I just ordered the 2nd one) plus I use the OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Crisper Filter, One Pack in both my fridge drawers. When we buy strawberries, they start to go off literally by that evening. After grocery shopping, when I quick put them, unwashed, into the small "berry" bin, we've still been eating them after 2 weeks!! This means we can buy more seasonal stuff on sale and eat it whenever we want instead of having to consume the most perishable within a day or two. (Please also shop around on Amazon...some people here complain of the price but $10/4 is less than I've seen in stores and lasts one year...well worth the money you're throwing away in spoiled food. Plus, I used the links above to buy my bins but there are more pricey ones here as well.) When not in use I also experimented with storing these packets in airtight ziplocks to prolong the 3 months. Didn't work. Even though there's a little reminder device on the bin top for the 3 months...I can't quite figure it out. So I just write "OXO" on my calendar on the 3rd month from now and keep the bins working at maximum capacity. My only other caveat is being careful about, especially, the large bin. I wash it by hand very carefully as I get the sense if I'm reckless, it could crack. They're well worth the price.
