Barkswell Hands Free Dog Lead - Running Lead with Waist Belt and Bungee Cord

I have joint issues ,particularly in my shoulders and hands and I struggle with traditional leads . This product has enabled me to walk my dog ,who pulls , for the first time in 12 months . I haven't walked him without being in pain . The two hand holds are very effective and even the bungee aspect allows you to hold it securely if needed . My dog wore a harness and really seemed to pull less , having my hands free to pick up his mess is another positive . The storage/zip part on belt is larger than appears and I could fit a samsung s24 fe in and poop bags with no problem . The belt itself is comfortable and has lots of extension to it . This product has given me back that freedom to walk my dog again ,independently. Thank you ! Would highly recommend.

Having recently adopted an adult german shepherd/husky cross, that has a preferred walking speed somewhat faster than I can walk even at my fastest, I figured that at some point I am going to have to end up running (not keen on that idea) with our dog. I bought this hands-free running dog lead/belt in readiness for that day, with the intention of using it whilst walking now to get her ready for the fateful day that my lycra goes on. Whilst, I have been using it for that readiness preparation (including the odd little bit of running in usual dog-walking attire), I’ve also found another use for it. We regularly walk through fields of livestock, usually sheep, but also cattle, pigs and horses. Particularly in the winter months, some of those routes are very muddy and/or icy, so there is the risk that one of these days I may go head over heels and drop the usual lead, something I don’t want to do when in such close proximity to sheep. The solution – before entering a slippery field containing livestock, I attach this running lead to the dog’s collar, so that even if I were to slip, she won’t end up running loose (more likely she’ll be standing over me as I lay in the mud, wondering what her daft human is doing now). I leave the normal lead attached when doing this, so that I can use that to guide her if necessary, but the running lead has helped her so much with walking at heel that it’s rarely necessary. I am very impressed with the manufacture quality of this lead/belt. The bungee is firmer than I had expected, but ideal for our current use. The construction is such that even after having tried shutting my car door multiple times with the lead hanging from my belt (the dog’s already in the back of the car by this time) and hence getting it in the way of the closing door many times, it shows no sign of damage. Our dog is 29-30kg, and this lead copes admirably. I’ve been so impressed that I have already gone on to buy the Barkswell seat belt as well, to replace ones that were recommended on Amazon but that simply do not compare. The pouch that is attached to the belt is a bonus, that I use for carrying poo bags and rewards for use during training. Very highly recommend.

We use this lead for walks and find it really practical to be mostly hands free due to current medical issues with hands. The bungee lead works well with our dog and the waist belt is great. Unfortunately the zip on one of the belt pockets failed after a few weeks but I reported this to the supplier and the customer service response was immediate and the item replaced straight away which was really positive. I would definitely recommend the product.

The hands free lead is well made, my collie/lab has a very strong pull. The piece you place around the waist is made strong and sturdy, it has a long enough lead with sturdy clips to attach to the dog and your waist. It has to areas on the belt that you can attach the lead or take 2 dogs. The handy pockets are ideal for poop bags and treats. Would recommend

This is one of the best pet products I have purchased over the years. I have 2 fairly well trained dogs who are used to being on slip leads with no pulling. To use this I put them on harnesses which these clip leads easily attach to. The pockets on the belt look tiny but they are perfect size for carrying poo bags and my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra fits neatly into one, they are also waterproof too! The belt is easily adjusted and there are loops both sides to clip onto. My dogs are trained to heel on the left side and both of them can be easily clipped to the same side. Lead length is perfect for running and allows both dogs to run comfortably next to me without any of us being dragged. Elasticity is also good and I like the double handles on the leads themselves. I haven't run in a couple of years so am starting back with couch 2 5k and this is perfect to bring the dogs along too. Would really recommend this product to anyone new or old to running with their dogs.

Io lo uso per andare in montagna su alcuni tratti di sentieri dove magari incrocio più cani, forse un filo più lungo sarebbe stato ancora più comodo.il mio cane è di taglia grande sui 40 kg, il guinzaglio e robusto e comodo.a volte lo uso anche attaccando un altro guinzaglio e l’ammortizzazione funziona comunque… Effettivamente lo consiglio.io lo uso solo in rare occasioni perché solitamente il mio cane sto sciolto libero, solo quando incontro altri cani maschi devo tenerlo per sicurezza dopo che è stato aggredito da un cane maschio, appena uno gli ringhia un po’ diventa una iena! 😸

super confortable pour la taille et réglage facile je ne met pas grand chose dans les poches car les gros objets sont gênants, mais très pratique pour les sacs plastiques ou friandises. acheté le 30 août 2022, nous sommes le 20/07/2024 et il est toujours aussi résitant. juste la longe élastique s'est légèrement détendue mais rien de méchant, les mousquetons ne sont pas cassés ni plié

Erstaunlich, wie hochwertig das ganze Set wirkt. Es ist sicherlich nicht das günstigste Set für 2 Hunde gewesen, aber die Qualität ist einwandfrei. Alle Nähte sind sauber ausgeführt, die Materialien sind hochwertig und die Hardware (Karabiner, Reißverschlüsse, D-Ringe) sind keinesfalls Billigteile. Die Taschen des auf den ersten Blick recht schmalen Hüftgurtes sind so geschnitten, dass sie sich ausdehnen können. Schlüssel, Kotbeutel und Leckerlis können gut verstaut werden und schlackern beim Laufen nicht rum. Die elastischen Seelen der Leinen federn ausreichend, sind aber nicht zu hart, dass es den Hund wegreißt, wenn er mal stehen bleibt und man selber weiter läuft. Ich finde das Gesamtpaket gut abgestimmt. Zudem kommt das ganze Paket in einem Nylonbeutel - so bleibt alles zusammen und da man ja sowieso immer zu viel von €em ganzen Hundezeugs hat, kann man immerhin vermeiden, dass sich das Set „trennt“ und man den Einzelteilen hinterher suchen muss. Top Produkt, völlig angemessener Preis! Hiermit macht man keinen Fehler, wenn man eine Leine für 2 Hunde sucht, mit der man Joggen gehen kann.
