Melissa & Doug Holiday Christmas Tree Wooden Chunky Puzzle (13 pcs)

This puzzle was easy even for my two year old grandchildren, but it is so beautiful and festive that I just like having it out, by the tree. It makes me smile! Maybe it looks like illustrations from my childhood Christmas books. My 2 year old grand girl was talking and crooning to herself over every piece, playing with them and placing them all around then fitting them in place, clearly making up a whole story or play scene in her brilliant little head :)

I read that some people were not happy with the quality of this product however I did not have the same experience. I found that the paint and imagery stood out very nicely. It's nice and large, larger than their normal chunky puzzles and I couldn't be happier.

I purchased this for my 18 month old grandson who was intrigued by our large Christmas tree. It worked perfectly and he was so excited that it was his. The decorations were just right for his little hands and he spent lots of time decorating and undecorating it. I purchased 3 to give to my friends whose grandchildren will be ready for it next year.

This is colorful little Christmas puzzle designed to capture the attention of any small child. The pieces are large enough for little hands to easily grasp each piece. The face of the puzzle shows which piece belongs in each given spot, so it’s very easy for a small child to complete, time and time again all by themselves. Melissa and Doug products never disappoint!

This was an adorable addition to our sons playroom for December! We actually took it with us for our pajama Christmas photos and used it as a prop! Melissa & Doug are my favorite puzzles for our 16 month old.

My 2 year old has played with this puzzle daily all Christmas season. She has also used extensively the puzzle pieces as Christmas figurines in her pretend play. She is not particularly gentle with the pieces, and in some places the paint is starting to chip off. The back of the pieces are painted green, and in some places on the Christmas tree board this paint has been scuffed off onto the pictures. Additionally, the original craftsmanship of the pieces isn't amazing. As you can see in the picture, some of the images are not placed quite right and don't line up with the cut shape. My biggest complaint is that poor angel whose wooden piece was obviously defective/misshaped but was painted and shipped anyways. Despite the issues, I will be keeping this for next year and I would buy this again. My toddler loved playing dolls with all the figurine type pieces (the angel, snowman, gingerbread man, etc) and she also enjoyed having her own little Christmas tree of a sort.

I got this for my son to use leading up to Christmas, he is 22 months old. It was perfect for teaching him vocab related to the holiday and he loves doing it over and over. It is very sturdy and perfect for little hands.

This, along with another similar puzzle, was a Christmas gift for an 18-moth old. She played with both puzzles over and over again. Very colorful as well as educational. Just one caution: If you are buying this as a gift, have it shipped directly to the gift-receiver. The puzzle is quite heavy, and shipping cost can be costly.

Puzzle magnifique! Très belle réalisation qui représente tous les symboles de Noël. Les pièces sont suffisamment grosses pour être mises à la bouche si votre enfant a encore cette habitude. Bois vernis de bonne qualité. Finition parfaite. Ma fille de 15 mois l'adore.

Fantastic purchase for my toddler! We love Melissa and Doug puzzles, and this Christmas tree is no exception. The pieces are bright and colorful, well painted, and sturdy for small toddler hands. Underneath each piece is a photo matching the piece, so it is easy for little ones to figure out where to place the pieces. The pieces fit snugly in their places. I would highly recommend this product for 18 months and up, though it would likely be too easy for older toddlers.

Gioco di ottima qualità, originale, bello, che oltretutto è piaciuto tantissimo anche alla bimba di un anno che non sapeva fare ancora il puzzle, ma si divertiva tanto a togliere tutto i pezzi dalla base, in quanto i pezzi sono di dimensione perfetta da tenere in mano. Sicuramente ci giocherà anche il prossimo Natale! Un regalo perfetto.
