Another excellent product from Microjig

or even miter bars made from HDPE plastic (still better than wood) as these are easily adjustable to fit any standard miter slot. The material these are made from is low friction and wear resistant. The only "downside" one might find/consider is their short length. You can buy aluminum adjustable miter bars in much longer lengths, which may/may not be more suitable for your needs. Microjig products in general I've found to be well thought out, versatile and good quality for the price.
