Well made string line and strong

Handle is awful and cheap plastic all i wanted was the coloured cord it was worth the price alone.

Decent cordage on the line, nice and bright, handle seems a bit flimsy and I don't expect it to last long, will do as always have and make a wooden one.

I’ve used this type quite a bit to line up posts for fencing. It’s slightly elastic but strong and will take enough tensioning over a reasonable distance to provide an accurate reference without sagging. The rotating handle makes it easy to play out and the head has grooves to secure the line when you have reached an adequate length. Overall good value.

This was disappointing. The line is too stretchy and mine was two pieces knotted together.

Not suitable as builder string. Far too elastic and breaks under moderate tension. Disappointed purchase which was returned

Good bit of kit , also doubles as a telephone if you put a can at each end and pull tight !

Saw a builder use this for putting up fencing and thought it would be great to keep a consistent line when planting a hedge. Worked great, lasts a while with lots of string, easy to use, flexible but able to break it with a strong pull.
