What are the dimensions of this item. I would need a funnel which can be used to fill the smaller 8oz jars with both Jam and Chutney.

Hi Mr JI find the funnel sits just over the opening of an 8oz jar so not suitable. Kilner also do one with a slimmer longer funnel which is more suitable. Hope this helpsMrs S

Not sure of exact measurement as bought it as a gift, but it's about 15 cm diameter and about 25cm tall. Not huge, but still worth it!

If it is the one I got for daughter-in-law for last Xmas, not yet. Our bigger model never smells but i would buy cooker hood carbon blanket and cut out circle! Robert
