Reasonably priced and better for the environment than more durable varieties
I don’t get all the whingeing on here, to be fair. Yes, they disintegrate, but that’s what makes them better for the environment than sturdier caddy bags. Am I going to double-bag or treble-bag them? No, absolutely not. I’ve been using these for a while now and never had a bag split on me after first use. They regularly last a full week before they split. And here’s a top tip to anyone complaining about them splitting after filling them with water from tea bags and such like: squeeze the water out of your tea bags in the sink before hoying them in the caddy. Trust me, they will last a whole lot longer if you do that. On balance, I would much rather use a thinner bag that’s better for the environment than a thicker one. And what’s more it’s a perfect fit for the small brown caddy I got from the local council. All in all, a first-rate product - at a price you can afford!

Very Useful
We love how these compostable bags are so easy to tear open and they fit so easily into our bins. We found it very hard trying to open bags bought from local stores. The quality is great, could have been a little more sturdier. We will definitely be buying these compostable bags again.

Good in the main
When the liners remained intact they were good, sturdy and strong even when full. However, on each roll we lost between 5-10 bags as when they were torn off the perforations ripped the bottom of the bag rendering them useless. Losing one or two bags would have been acceptable, but losing so many was disappointing.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do!
Exactly what compost bags should be and do. I got 2 rolls and they lasted exactly the time as expected. They fit over council issue 5l caddies with a slight stretch over the 4th corner, and yes, it does tear on the last corner but ALL 5l caddy liners do this in my experience! Just have to be abit careful. Don't understand why some feel the need to double/triple bag - it's a compost bag, they're supposed to break down! We usually fill 2 bags over 2-3 days and they don't break down that easily as some reviews say. My suggestion is don't put liquid into the compost ie. squeeze/pour out all liquids before chucking into the compost bin!

Perfect for my 5l compost bin
I bought these for my home compost bin and find them perfet for the job . I have a round 5l metal bin and they are the right size with a slight overlap so useful for lifting out when full. I use a lot of veg so have lots of peelings and skin from fruit so do find I empty mine every 2-3 days so dont have any problems with leakage etc but as they do break down then if you keep them in the bin for longer then that may happen as they are incontact with food and fruit acids / enzymes etc. I find my compost bin is in full sun and does get v warm so these do break down pretty well but its slower in cooler weather. All in all very happy with my purchase and will continue to buy.

GREAT PRODUCT
Bought this to fit in my Joseph Joseph kitchen caddy and they fit with room to spare, and much cheaper than the Joseph Joseph bags. They are compostable so can go in your green bin. Absolutely wholeheartedly recommeded.
