Holds one's hair up well, even when water is sued one it, despite it being water soluble.

I like this because it works well with thick hair. It is almost odourless — the smell is very faint — you’ll only notice it if you squeeze a massive amount out of the tube. And even then the scent fades. The gel is thick and provides really good hold. The hold lasts all day for me. There is no flaking.

American Crew have a great range of hair products and men's products that are consistently high quality, and all have a terrific sophisticated but subtle fresh masculine scent. The American Crew Firm Hold Gel is no different. The gel is easy to apply, only a small amount needed to get a good style and firm hold which lasts all day. Hair looks shiny without looking heavy, greasy or wet. It's water based so it isn’t sticky to use. I had no issues with washing it out of hair and doesn’t leave any residue or dryness of hair or scalp. Highly recommended.

This is reviewed as very strong hold but this is not the case - good if you only need light control.

A nice straight-forward gel that is easy to work into the hair and then style with fingers or comb. It is low-shine and lasts several hours. No obvious smell.

High expectation as US made product

It is for thick and striaght hair...I once again repeat it is not for wavy or curly hairs.. it will dry out ur hair completely...Don't use for thin,fine, medium or long length hairs...Only great for short (up to 3 inch )and straight hairs..It make hairs crunchy..U can't restyle it during the day...Lifeless hairs

Ottimo prodotto non delude mai . Io ho un capello finissimo, tendenzialmente grasso e devo dire che non unge più di tanto. nel mio caso basta metterne un po' e asciugandoli con il phon stanno su bene .
