Pleased , took some rinsing but I expected that . Needed to buy more though as wasn’t enough. Have an aqua one 90 litre tank . Just setting up for shrimp so cycling at the moment.

Really happy with this gravel! It looks brilliant in the tank – the colours are natural and give it a nice, clean look without being too bright or fake. I gave it a quick rinse before using and it was good to go – barely any dust. My fish seem to love it too! It’s smooth, so no sharp bits to worry about, and it holds plants in place nicely. Doesn’t make a mess and is super easy to clean when I do water changes.

This sand is easy to use and relatively clean. I’m not sure why people seem to be confused re the colour or expected a different colour as it’s clearly labelled pewter which is a silver / light gray which is what this sand is. It’s not white as some reviewers have said it’s not “sand” coloured it’s a very light gray. If you have very strong lights it might appear almost white. I did not wash mine as I don’t like scraping with wet sand but it cleared quickly. You need to be extremely careful when cleaning glass with a magnet as this type of sand is devastating to glass if it gets caught under the magnet it really scratches. I have used several types of colours and textures from this brand and I’ve found them to be great for small projects where you don’t need tons of sand or gravel and good value as well as being a clean product. I don’t generally use it for growing plants for that I use Fluval Stratum . In the most recent scape I used stratum on half the scape where most of the plants are. You could use a plant soil under this or you could just use this sand and use root tabs to give the plants something to use for food.

Good clean sand, I've been using these for years and never found snails and no need to wash if you fill you tank slowly

Reçu dans la bonne couleur. C'est un sable très fin, avec très peu d'impuretés. Pensez bien à le rincer plusieurs fois (10 pour moi), car sinon vous aurez des particules très fines dans l'eau. Très content de mon achat.
