A quality standard chain optimised for Shimano drive trains - A Possible budget choice for e-bikes.
A good quality standard duty chain. Also still fine for e-bikes with an appropriate starting torque curve selected; and when making sure to use the supplied special purpose split pin, along with trimming the chain to the ideal length for the drive chain (and of course keep on top of lubricating regularly with something appropriate) Failure to observe the latter steps is usually the majority of reasons why reliability issues are encountered, particularly when installing precision chains. Having looked at them, The HG95 and more premium E6090 e-bike specific chains are near identical, they differ in apparent metal surface treatments and possibly in the grade of metal based on appearance, use, and manufacturers specifications. Otherwise though (see pictures) they essentially appear to be essentially physically identical in general design and thickness of the manufactured parts. Conclusion on this chain overall being that if you are on somewhat of a budget, this one probably hits the best sweet spot between quality of manufacture, and value for money. If you don't mind spending just a little more however, the E6090 and similar chains offer you that little extra piece of mind.

Great match for my old chain and good value
My old chain broke on a steep hill and because it's more than ten years old I decided it was safer to replace it than repair it. I made sure to get the right chain for my bike and when I put the old and new chain side by side, they're about four extra links, just in case. You have to remove a few links if that's the case. You get one chain rivet or whatever they're called in the pack. Perhaps they could give you two. I'm not a bike mechanic but I managed well enough (once I'd bought a chain link tool – essential) to fit the new chain and close the loop. Counting the number of links carefully on old and new chains is important. Do it three times before removing links. Once on, the gears shifted as normal with no adjustment and it's fairly obvious that the bike runs more smoothly and quietly. Considering how inexpensive a new chain is, it's a good idea to replace before you have a problem.

Shimano chain
Shimano chains always good quality and last well. I do tend to use the Clarke's link to connect rather than the Shimano ones. I seem to manage with those better..

Great chain
Good chain, don't forget this one has a rivet link and not a quick-link, so if you don't have a chain splitter tool you'll need one.

Chain link pins are utterly useless.
Chain link pin broke with very little effort. Had to purchase an entirely new pack of chain link pins. Useless.
