When we got our pond we just bought a "it'll do" green net, and i hated the pond ever since, as i couldn't see anything but this god-awful green net, we even went a year without a net at all. Worried about the safety of our fish and those pesky herons, I decided to start googling, and google took me straight to this product. I really thought I wouldn't go back to nets again but this net has been an absolute game changer, it is very sturdy and and you can actually still see your fish and pond when looking through it, it also looks a lot neater, i decided to buy a larger size with the intention to just cut it to size, but i think i could have done another pond as the net stretches out a fair bit. very pleased and i have not taken it down since its been put in place. Its a whole year later and its still going strong.

In my quest to deter herons from raiding my beloved pond and stealing my fish, I had tried numerous tactics, including decoys and floating plastic mats, but to no avail. The heron seemed to outsmart every deterrent I employed. While netting my pond wasn't my initial choice, as I was concerned it might look unsightly, it turned out to be the only effective solution to safeguard my fish. The Blagdon net, I must say, exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. Despite my initial reservations, I decided to give it a try, and I'm pleased to report that it has been a game-changer. The heron made a couple of attempts but was ultimately thwarted by this high-quality net. It seems to have accepted defeat and no longer visits my pond. If you find yourself in a situation where netting your pond is the only viable option, I can't recommend the Blagdon net highly enough. It's a reliable and effective solution that has not only protected my fish but also preserved the beauty of my pond."

A very good netting - Strong and big enough to cover most garden ponds, comes complete with excellent pegs. Far better than the one it replaced and the black finish doesn't detract to much from the ponds look.

This net was difficult to stretch over the pond. It was just the size quoted but unless you work at it it's either too long or too narrow. Best to lay it out on the floor first and stretch it to the dimensions needed. Otherwise it does the job OK.

I have received several complaints from the local heron regarding my purchase along the lines of “how am I supposed to steal your fish from the pond now it’s covered with netting? Don’t you know I have hungry beaks to fill?” Needless to say, like the next person I’m not keen on the thought of hungry herons. But I’m even less keen on the thought of my ghost koi becoming, well, ghosts. Nice net. Not the sort of thing to hang at your window and twitch. But just the job for heron-proofing a pond.

Easy to install and seems quite strong. Is of a good size for most garden ponds and is the only thing that works to keep the herons away. Would recommend.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung des Netzes. Der Fischreiher hatte bereits mehrfach versucht, es zu zerstören, hatte aber keinen Erfolg. Hat auch sein Gewicht auf Teichmitte getragen. Die mitgelieferten Befestigungen / Heringe sind in Anzahl und Qualität mehr als ausreichend. Wir haben aber rund um den Teich Bambusstangen verwendet und eine Seilunterkonstruktion sowohl um den Teich, als auch quer verspannt. Auf dieser Tragkonstruktion liegt das Netz gespannt in einer Höhe von 30-40 cm auf. Durch die gute Größe sind auch die Seiten geschlossen. Farbe schwarz besser als dunkelgrün- wir sind zufrieden mit der Kaufentscheidung.

La rete è arrivata puntuale all'interno della scatola Amazon c'è una sua busta completa di picchetti per fissare la eventualmente al terreno io l'ho usata per coprire una piscina rotonda diametro 6 m si svolge molto bene facile da maneggiare molto leggera ma comunque resistente la uso per non far andare le foglie nella piscina quando è inverno l'ho fermata lungo i bordi con dei mattoni. Il tessuto pare di qualità buona non si è strappato seppur tirandolo per mantenere la rete tesa sulla piscina. Sono abbastanza soddisfatto
